By design. Wasn't enough time to finalize those systems. We chose to skip over them for now until there's time to do em properly, then hook em up.

They exist and can be RPd to exist. Just... not accessible to players yet.

How do I fix it to work with .86?

Go to "Settings" then "Set Freelancer Directory" and navigate to the Discovery Freelancer Folder then select it and Companion will update to the new mod.

Doesn't work for me. I have FL on desktop but uh.. When i go to settings and set the directory it has 'Freelancer' sand tell me to go back and restart companion. I do that, but it's the same as before.

I think you guys still aren't pointing it to the folder where you installed the mod to - remember, the mod is copying files from your default freelancer install, merging them with the mod files and playing from the resulting folder.

i had this problem and sorted it within a couple of minutes. what i did was. select your shortcut on your desktop for the NEW discovery freelancer, then properties and then make note of the directory tree in the start in line. use that to have freelancer companion to point to set freelancer directory under settings in freelancer companion
