Note: Any hockey fan should know how bad the Leafs are
It's strange that in the past 2 Original Six games the Red Wings have played, within 5 minutes a penalty shot was called against the Red Wings. It's also strange that this is the second straight year that this has happened in Chicago.
How much did the Leafs win by again?
Take away the Bulls n' Bears and it's a tie game. Give them the penalties they deserve for holding down Jiri Hudler and take away the 4th goal which was scored on an offsides play and it's a winning game for the Wings.
Oh well. Win a few and lose a lot. Unless you're the most successful sports team in modern history.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, the Leafs aren't doing poorly this year. They're 9 points behind the Rangers who have the best record in the league right now. The magic boy they signed is coming into his own, which is good for them. Take away the referee and they still are awful.

Hey, just goes to show that occasionally, a Purdue Boilermaker makes a decent quarterback.
One of those things where Painter proves how badly they suck - while Brees and Orton show that there is SOME talent that goes through West Lafayette.
What was amusing was how the announcers were talking about how everyone in Houston was so happy for Andre Johnson, finally getting into the playoffs with Houston after 9 long years. Interesting that the ONLY way that it could happen was that Peyton Manning couldn't play this year.
Actually, as the underdog, I was rooting for Detroit, and I thought they had a chance. Which they did - the first half. Second half, they just forgot how to play the game.
Now - how about the game this afternoon, Broncos and Steelers?

Ya know, I was gonna make a crude joke about Denver having the edge since Tebow and the Man (ahem) are boys, but I decided not to offend people's religious sensibilities, should they have them.
Regardless, Denver looked good out there.
Even though my team lost, I'm still excited to watch what happens next week.
I think the Saints have the edge over the 49er's, and the Packers (grrrr, I HATE THEM)will crush the Giants.
