Dear IMG. I SHOT Yooooooooooou!

Here I was, just minding my own business, platonically conversing with a Military personnel and blamo, an IMG tagged ship, IMG Identification transport, a cargo full of copper Ore and right in the middle of New Berlin. Yea, that was brilliant!

You activated some half-way cloaking device that perfectly made your shields disappear!
The Military person and I didn'€™t like being stood up, so we put you down.
Have a fantastic day!

Oh yea, the copper ore was smelted in space and converted into cupcakes. Enjoy!

I think I'€™ll stay in Hamburg a while. On route from the shipyard, I ran into someone Richards took out about a week ago. Though business for him has been pretty good for going from a small Border Worlds transport to a Heron. Transporting Military Vehicles to Liberty. As if there weren'€™t enough bloody weapons of war in their system. I chased the transport into Hudson and was able to destroy him and the military vehicles before any Liberty patrols could arrive.

On route back to Hamburg, I ran into a transport carrying Engine components through the Embargo. As article two states the definition of cargo determined to be restricted to enter Liberty, and that chap had it. His excise was that the Ring sold it to him, therefore its legal. I reminded him about the Embargo, the war, didn'€™t seem to phase him as he edged toward the lane over and over. I didn'€™t have time for his antics and ended his trip, abruptly. The engine components were destroyed in space.

This one was a surprise. Not used to seeing a minin ship carrying military vehicles. This varmint was a mite tricky at that and also wasn'€™t patient, two qualities never seen mix well. The moment I told him the situation he was in, he landed at Stuttgart. Ah figured that was that, he'€™d hit atmo and never see him again. Nope. After about 20 minutes chasing him around Stuttgart, ah managed to convince him that he can transport that smuggled stuff to his destination. Only thing Ah didn'€™t mention was he had to get it past the Cowboy first.

Took an old tactic that worked wonders back in Liberty. If yer know where the varmint is heading and ya need to chase him, chase in front of him. It worked just right. Stopped that varmint in the middle between Stuttgart and that IMG base in Omega 7 and had a flat out talk with the dude. Yea, didn'€™t listen, didn'€™t care, and he didn'€™t make it. Cussed me out from his ejection pod too. All military hardware accounted for and destroyed.

Blowing off some steam at the Munich gate, a Borderworlds transport came by smuggling military vehicles. It was surprised as hell that I stopped it, gave it a once over and requested it relinquish the cargo. They gave me some sad story about profit losses. I just didn'€™t give a bloody hell at that point. He dropped the cargo, then I detonated it in space and he headed away,

My own countrymen don'€™t respond as fast as this Smuggler did. Frankly, I'€™m stunned.

This never gets any easier. I was patrolling New Berlin and saw two small transports exiting the ring full of Engine components. I took Mr. Kent'€™s advice and thought ahead to where they may run to where it would be an issue, Hamburg. I held position between the shipyard and the planet, waiting for them to come into range. When they appeared, I disrupted the lane and caught them doing just what I was afraid of. Holding fire, I tried to inform them of the severity of the infraction they caused, but it was hard enough trying to convince them of anything. We agreed to head to Hamburg with the understanding that evading further questioning would end them all up in trouble. They understood and we precede to planet Hamburg where the first transport docked to sell their cargo as promised. At high orbit, we conversed a little more where it seemed their method of negotiation was becoming more of a stalling tactic. All of the sudden, one transport had life support malfunctions and could return to space and the other had docking issues. I may be a bit slow on the draw but even I have a limit. I couldn'€™t trust the transports to follow through with their proposal to sell the cargo and leave, so I asked the one ship in space to drop its cargo. CX-T2-PILOT refused, and I was forced to open fire on them, destroying them and then the engine component cargo in space to prevent retrieval. I contacted the Station command to detain that transport : CX-T-Pilot that did land. I will have to treat that as an escaped transport and report him to the Database.

This was a complicated one.

Headding out from Munich to Frankfurt I spotted two transports heading back into Munich. With the damn jump engines discharged, it was the longest 30 seconds in my life. Finally making it back into Munich I caught Interspace Commerce ships hauling Gaian wildlife. A big no no in Rheinland without a Researcher'€™s ID. Due to some ion interference and them, being ahead of me, I couldn'€™t stop them from delivering the cargo to the Orbital habitat
I'€™m pretty damn sure his freelancer friend was doing the same thing but I don'€™t have a shred of proof on the matter.

Ms. Kristian.G.is however going on the naughty list tonight.

Caught a little trouble in Munich from a little trader looking to make a large profit on smuggling military vehicles. I stopped him at the lane connection and tried to explain things over to him which didn'€™t seem to sink in. He sounded Gallic. Firing a warning shot, he warned me by blasting my shields nearly half away. Well, I tried. There is just no getting through to some people. More fuel for the fire. All smuggled Military Vehicles were destroyed in space to prevent recapture.

On a patrol in Frankfurt we ran into a Kishiro transport, ID of Kishiro|Shinten transport under attack from a single Bundschuh IFF fighter, ID [Wraiths]-Desolator. I don'€™t think he was expecting a Freelancer to assist a transport. The kept close to the transport and a few of our missiles were able to EMP the fighter enough to perhaps trigger a faulty cloaking device prematurely. This was enough time for the Shinten to make way out of the system. When the fighter returned it eventually started heading off and out of range.

Sir'€™s the Reavers are back in the Rheinland system in full force. We first saw them assisting the FTU IMG guard and some very large transport through Rheinland space. We weren'€™t able to get a scan on the barge or what it was carrying. The Reavers were quick to dispatch us this time around.

The next day we heard reports of issues in Omega 7 with frequent raids on miners and decided to head into that region and see what we could find.

Captain Hunter Riley requested that we not assist in an engagement between him and two Hessians. I'€™ve never quite seen flying skills like his. What eventually became two bouts of 2 on 1 became four kills for Mr. Riley. What I found odd was the restraint the AGS had towards us, something about a debt.

More notably, one of the Hessians was flying in a fully armed Molly/Liberty rouge Hybrid bomber. As a note, there was an IMG ship standing by. It and a few others went to Omega 11 to head off an attack of their own against them.

Later that day, we headed upwards towards the northern locations of Omega 7. The regions have shifted quite a lot in the last few weeks. Two miners stated that there were Reavers in Omega 7. Being too close to the miners in the fields, we felt it best to draw the on coming fire away from them. With no time to spare the two Reavers summed up their position and opened fire on us.

I think it was a trap. We took the most evasive offensive stance we could adopt to and it seemed to work. We did not follow the standard pattern of missiling their shields and drawing gun fire and put all our energy into the guns. It seemed to throw them off. Silver is their best pilot hands down, and we knew this would be a long fight.

We managed to kill one of the Reavers ID of Shadow.Reaver, but he was quickly replaced by a hessian bomber who seemed to enjoy deploying one Nova class torpedo after another. I have a powerful suspicion that the zoner transport Jabberwock resupplied Silver yet I have no confirmation of this. The transport arrived nearby and simply left. That ship Name is also the name of one of Rorry'€™s gunboats. Again, nothing substantial to support this. At this point we were assisted by a Kruger defender Kruger|Epsilon-02. This gave us a chance to breath and send out a distress call. It attacted more bad than good. Silver was ever the more deadly and focused her attention on the defender. We were unable to prevent its destruction.

1/10

Yet we could manage to focus our attention on Silver for a short time until another Hessian joined in. We assessed they were either over confident or a fairly new pilot. We were able to dispatch them next. We too were able to get support from a repair craft near by. It gave us a second wind for sure and we needed it. Unfortunately, it became clear the Hessians were not willing to let us go. We were able to get this last image before we were simply over run by Hessian forces, and the remaining Reaver pilot.
2/10

The Vigilance is out of commission for a while.

More age old ignorant people who never heard of a Rheinland trade restriction yet use the fact that I'€™m a freelancer as their only defense. Some people. Event after trying to explain and educate him the error of his ways, he saw fit to run. He insisted that he had better things to do and used some cloak to vanish from my sight just as I was about to SNAC him a second time. Where he and the Military Vehicles went to is beyond me.
