The closed faction ID's have limitations to it, be it by zone or what to shoot.
Do you really think the devs or the admins would proposely let a biastimebomb that would potentially blow up in their faces?
Lolno.
Plus, you are watching the effort that they are currently having about the ID's atm and the whole 7969698658 bug solving.
Give them sometimes and don't worry. You'll get shot today, tomorrow and anyday of the week. The diversity of Sirius guarantees it.
I speak about IDs -you get it personal and speak about RP and hate planets and stuff.
For me it is not logical to be able to hurt everything that comes in your range- period.
Why?
Because the others cannot do it- take it from pure RP point or from pure OORP one.
It is just simple like that.
Aphil- I still don't get what you want to say to me, I will repeat myself- why you need stuff on your ID that you declared that you wont use?
It will be 100 times more useful for SCRA not to have stuff on their ID that does not intent to make- your HC wont need to boot people, people wont get annoyed etc- simple and better for everybody actually.
I mean old SCRA ID was saying that SCRA was not able to attack civilians and corporations
You agree with it and said that you wont do it anyway. So according to you the old ID was fitting well to your actions, according to me too, why there is no protective line for civilians there then?
What is the point to have it allowed in your new ID then?
Quote:Can hunt pirates and terrorists anywhere in Sirius.
Can demand contraband, levy fines, and destroy ships if they refuse to comply with contraband demands, refuse to cooperate or are affiliated with a group at war with the Coalition.
Same with this:
Quote:May intervene in any combat situation within Omicrons and Omegas"
Quote:Can engage and destroy any lawful Liberty ships at will, excluding ships belonging to Liberty corporations,Can demand contraband as dictated by Hellfire Legion law from lawful and unlawful traders and smugglers and destroy ships if they refuse to comply, sealing their phate.
Translated it means - PvP whore everything in my range- no matter lawful or unlawful. No civilian protection clauses like in 4.85. Admins why that?
I am simply saying that without any restrictions this IDs are highly abusable and they will be abused in the rules and will cause trouble in the future for all involved- because the ID uses wont be mature enough not to abuse them. Previous experience with common matter prove that.
I am sorry that I cannot believe in the good intentions of the fellow players here- I simply cannot since they failed more then several times.
Curious- pirates does not have bases, whole ship lines and capitals and faction rights, and if you pay their demand they cannot attack you.

You dont know a whole lot about RoS, do you? When you make a topic like this, to criticize ID's and factions, first you should familiarize yourself with the ID's and factions you are out to criticize. Otherwise you just make yourself look stupid. And a whole bunch of "" in your posts, where you dont have any argument and dont know what to say, dont help in that case either.
Also, can you show me where exactly it states that the RoS can engage anything they want wherever they want?
Pilot carrying this ID is a Reaper of Sirius, who :
- May not operate outside of the Omicrons and Omegas,
- May intervene in any combat situation within Omicrons and Omegas,
- May ally with nomads against any force,
- May attack Hessians, Coalition, Phantoms, Logic, Bounty Hunters, Corsairs, Order and Outcast at will,
- Cannot use transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Within Omicrons and Omegas. pretty much ANYTHING
I wasnt aware that the factions listed there are "pretty much everyone". I also wasnt aware that the Omicrons and Omegas are "pretty much everywhere". We stop fights by killing one side in a conflict, not by going somewhere and yelling "Everyone dies now!". Thats not how it works.

I didnt say
May ONLY engage blabla bla;)
Never said you did, I was hinting at Govedo, since he seems pretty sure that the RoS can engage anything they want at will, which is not really the case.

Probably the most important part of our RP right there.
