The server passed a major milestone today, it managed 24 hours continuous operation without a crash. As they say "pics or it didn't happen"...

Please note that since the server is now mostly stable, the anti-F1 timer has been turned back on.

With regards to the development, the team continues to work very hard at resolving the reported issues. 53 tickets of 119 have been closed. We expect to release the next update during the coming weekend and this should resolve the last of the major stability issues.

That 119 number is likely to rise a bit further - I've only gotten to page 49 of 65 of the general bugs thread. But most of the issues reported are minor, only taking a few minutes to fix, or "CTD while docking at base xxx" which has been solved already, so those can be skipped.

Out of all, I never doubted Cannon. Good job and that goes to entire dev team.

While I generally do not agree with many things in .86, the job you do is beyond awesomness.

Actually, I believe Aeternus Doleo found and fixed the annoying NPC bug. So kudos to him.

Which one? The BHG destroyer spawns crashing the server due to bad formation, the Brigand dual thruster loadout oops, or those broken patrol paths?

I didn't do anything to the Legionnaires... Although I'll take a look at their loadout this evening. Dual thruster would explain their... movement-on-steroids behaviour as well.

Thank you devs. All of this done just in time for me to go back to university, arrghh! Anyway, your work is very much appreciated, especially since it's often done without the thankfulness from the players that should go with it.

Now that the bugs are generally sorted out with the next update, can we perhaps get some information with respect to the release of cloaks, player docking, Jump Drives and Player Owned Stations? Anything, anything at all, thanks again.
