Juan grinned. Lutero was a trustworthy man, if mildly ridiculous, in Zavala's opinion. He nodded to Concordia.
"Well met, Senorita Concordia. I can't say much about 'Angels'... You're one of the first visitors we've had wandering in here, and the first who's started making comments about Angels. I'll make a guess you don't know much about who we are and what we do, otherwise the 'Angel' comments would be a little different, si?"
He paused for a moment and took a sip from his drink while listening to the girl's rather haphazard story.
"I'm Juan Zavala. I hold the title 'Fallen Angel', whatever that may mean... Cayman is a long way from anywhere, which is how we prefer it. Generally people only find us if they're looking. It seems like you weren't."
Did she mispronounce on purpose? Didn't look like it. Maybe she was just stupid. "I knew a Juan... He was always asking me to do nasty naughty things...
I'd rather call you... Hmm..."
She paused, thinking, and took advantage of it by asking to the bartender a fine refill.
"What about Juzaza honey? Sounds cute!" Didn't sound like she was actually asking him his opinion on that one.
Taking a sip, she stared at him absent-mindedly. "You said you are a fallen angel, hon'?
That means you don't love anymore?"
She then took a quick look around and added : "And you're right... I never danced here. First time i visit this place! Why are you all so touchy about that angel talk?"
