Sorry Xing but as someone bound to be flying it I think I've got to say something.

Now make no mistake, I know you've put a lot of effort into this and I'm very appreciative that someone is trying to make a good Coalition fighter. However, I have some reservations I'm going to list:

- The panels on the above ship have too much of a gap between them. Look at the styling of other FL and Disco ships and you'll see what I mean.

- The colour is too bland and flat for something that is supposed to be so big (relative to humans). I do realise that the texture isn't finished but I wanted to mention it.

- My opinion, the black parts and (HUGE) rivets need to go. They look like stickers and are cluttering the ship. It's a real good design, but adding too much to it in the shape of tiny wings and black bits makes the overall look too busy.

- The red cockpits need to be changed. Koolmo agrees. The red stars are fine, but the cockpits are over doing the red. The old white ones were much better. Try some dirty-white ones.

Also, and not something that I don't like about the ship, but I'd like to see the wings with less of a point from the side, and the same with the underside of the nose. I'd love to mount a torp there.

Sorry if I seemed a little harsh, but those are my thoughts. And as far as I know, Koolmo agrees with them... so shout at him if you have any problems! :D

Hey, no shouting at me...

Yea, Axe and a couple others rather had a go at me about the new ships and pointed out their issues with them. That commentary is in the end what we came up with. The Superheavy Fighter/Bomber, we're not sure on, for the afformention black spots and large gaps between panels. The texturing is awsome however (thanks AoM).

I wouldn't mind seeing a Superheavy and a Bomber in use, as well as that freighter. If we're going to have a complete line of ships, it might as well be filled up.

What remains, however, is the to-be-designed Light Fighter. The cockpit in use on the current ships doesn't look like it'll work for a light fighter. We need something that looks just about big enough for someone to lie down in, maybe with a couple of stub wings.

Now, don't take this badly. We're incredibly pleased with the progress this model has made already, and are looking forward to perfecting it into something grand and terrible...

*evil laughter*

Now, I have to header, but if you've got any questions, sling them to me or axe on skype and we'll be happy to talk to youse.

Wow I was about to make a post stating that you needed to lose the 'plastic' look but it seems you fixed it already, well done! My only crit is the pure white window. Honestly I preferred the red:P

For the 'lines'(I guess their like, weld lines..) I suggest you ditch the pure black approach, it gives a cel shaded look and causes the 'cartoonieness of the texture', make it a gray and use the burn + dodge tool to give it proper depth.

Really nice improvement!

I agree with Kerc on the lines, though not on the cockpit. It would be nice if the cockpit was divided into sections (windows) but it's not essential.
