No, it's because ORIGIN is the same thing that's been done over and over, time and time again for the past 5 years and we're sick of seeing it.

No to mention that EA doesn't /need/ to force people to use their crappy advertising platform (because really, that's what it is) they're already sucking the money out of people pretty well.

Origin is also a spyware. Origin was created by destroying a successful studio. Origin belongs to EA, EA is (by far) the worst gaming corporation out there (the most financially maniac one).

I have to say that Activision too is financially maniac.

Their specialistic though is not screwing up succesful stuff, but simply farming it with as little evolution as possible until it dies.

And I guess someone with proper skills will make some sort of "origin-blinder" that will render the spyware part inactive, in due time.

Sandboxie

The whole program files scanning and registry scanning for EA games will still go on, but only inside the Sandboxie environment/space not on the rest of your C: drive or wherever.
