Interest in a new Gallic Royal Navy faction?

If there is enough interest, I will attempt to write a faction proposal for a new Royal Navy faction, Which I will lead / co - lead?

Before +LE+ back in 2009 I ran the most successful gallic brigand faction: Les~Vampirs which although had some problems L~V at one point had 12 active players and we were the archenemy of the GRN| who at that time were more active aswell. Anyway thats enough history about me:

If your a GRN Indy or other Gallic Navy fighter and/or interested in seeing a new Gallic Navy Faction taking centre stage in the new 4.86 platform then put forward your interest below.

With enough interest I will write up a new GRN Faction Proposal aiming for officiality with all activity centered in the Taus and Bretonia, so the aim of this new navy faction would be the fight against Bretonia thus we would be based in bretonia, leaving gallia to the GRP| (as they do a good job there).

So what do you think?

I would be interested in RP'ing and participating, but my characters are Royal Police though. Seeing the generous ZOI and wide range of allowed actions on the ID we should be able to cooperate closely, if you are up for that. I'll do anything I can to help.

I think I'm a bit snobbish about factions - if there's an official one, the other has to be really unique or -better- than them for me to consider joining. I'm interested in both sides of the Gallic conflict, so I'll surely do navy-stuff at a point. Thou I have already too much on my disco-plate, so I'll probably keep on the indy side.

coz Gallia will RIP if left to the GRN|, something has to give. A new faction with a fresh perspective on the situation must take its place, alliances must be made. The Lore must be played out......
No disrespect to Dab or whoever runs GRN| but gallia is slowly dying(player wise) yet featured centrally in Disco Lore and I dont think GRN| is up to the job.

I sit there in leeds on HMS-Argosax waiting for a RP with a RNS ship and it hardly ever comes, so with enough interest I will happily switch sides and give this Full Steam ahead.

Exactly see here is where I think GRN| has lost focus, it has lost focus on what its job is. It is not big enough to have an exclusive presence in gallia and outside gallia. Which is where this new faction would be different it would know its Role in sirius: WAR, nothing more. Nothing but all out War on Bretonia that would be the centre of its RP.

Not worrying about defense of gallia as its almost impregnable + with the GRP| at the helm, the King is in safe hands. Defensively gallia is taken care of, Offensively it is failing which is what this new faction would change as Offense will be it's first middle and last names!
