Teresa replied: "Hola Ares. I know it wasn't easy for you to come, yet you did and I am glad."
She offered him a hand for hand-shake and after he accepted she said: "No, the Elder title is not hereditary in the Brotherhood. We're not acting like family, we're more like a group of Corsairs with similar point of view, I believe. Me as an Elder? It's not my desire to become one. I was able to enter the Chamber and send the message to you all due to an accident, or some weird purpose of my father. He sent me all his access codes and I decided to use them now as I can't just sit and watch the Corsair Nation being torn apart. I'd like to act as a mediator because I feel am not that biased as I became a part of the Brotherhood not very long ago."
Ares' question was still hanging in the air so she continued: "Well now you know my position in this meeting. You also know, that the positions of The Brotherhood Elders have always reflected the person's qualities. I can't speak for the leaders of the Benitez Family, as I barely know them, but I am sure they too have right people on the right places. You can get your assurance later today, as I still hope they'll take part in this meeting."

A pilot stepped into the Foyer of the council chamber, and placed a wrapped parcel on the desk. The clerk sat up, and looked the pilot in the eye.
"A gift for the council." the pilot announced.
The clerk's gaze diddnt break. "From whom is it adressed?"
The pilot replied "It's from the Benitez. They diddnt want to come in person to this meeting. They say that this gift of good faith will speak for them."
The clerk deliberated, and finally accepted the parcel. The words "I'll lay it in the council chamber" met the pilot's ears, and he left.
The chamber was busy. The clerk squose past chatting pilots and Centurions, and laid the package on the platform in the centre of the amphitheatre. He pulled the sheath off of the cube-shaped object, and made his exit.
After some time, the council took their seats. One rose. "I hear the traitorous Benitez family will not be joining us for this meeting."
The Cube, sitting in the centre of the room, un-noticed by most of the elders, burst into life. A lense was revealed on one of it's vertical faces. A laser shot from it, striking the member who had spoken, causing the muscles in his body to momentarily spasm, pushing him back into his seat.
He looked back in shock, but said nothing.
A stream of light shot from the top of the cube, hitting the domed roof of chamber. The green light cascaded over the walls of the chamber, illuminating the entire room with it's piercing glow. Suddenly, an empty quadrant of the ampitheatre was filled with the figures of seated pilots and captains, heads held high and sporting awards and medals they had themselves earned. One, not the eldest of the group of translucent figures, but with a face aged by years of leadership spoke;
"The Talos is in orbit. We, the officers of the Benitez family are seated in our quarters on the mighty flagship, ready to participate in this meeting.
In a past meeting of 2 organisations of our people, order and respect where difficult to come-by. Our cube, whilst facilitating our attendance here, will also work towards ensuring that these hallowed halls not be tainted by the exchange of petty insults.
May negotiations that take place today be beneficial for all concerned. "
"Excuse me, brothers, I'll be right back", and she left running towards the hangars, jumped into her Titan and took off in order to approach Benitez BS Talon.
Once she was at the orbit, she contacted sir Carlos on system chat and asked: "Sir, why do you refuse to come in person?"
After a lot of Teresa's attempts to persuade Carlos Benitez to physically attend the meeting, she gave up and landed back at Crete. He probably seemed to think the Brotherhood want's to assasinate or capture him. Teresa was wondering where did he get such feeling but there was no time for that. She returned to the Council Chamber and awaited the promised Benitez representative...

The council waited. Some of the translucent Benitez figures faded.
Suddenly, the doors of the chamber slammed open, and Carlos stormed in, accompanied, at his side, by Praetor Zavier.
"I fail to see why the previous arrangement was not adequate."
Carlos and Zavier sat down in the places that not many minutes before, their holographic selves had occupied. They waited for someone to speak, surrounded by the rest of their bretheren in a holographic state.
Teresa looked pleased: "So you came yourself. Call me old fashioned, brother, if I still can call you like that, your decision to come in person means a lot to us."
She sat down and continued: "There have been mistakes an both sides I believe but it's time to forget those and look to the future. I'd like to assure you that the Brotherhood has no intentions to overtake or rule the Corsair nation. We respect you and your family, even though it may not seem so sometimes. First of all I'd like to ask you if you still believe that The Brotherhood and the Benitez Family could coexist peacefully?"

Miguel Sephardi threw open the cockpit of his titan and hopped out. With his new position of Centurian came a staff, they were amusing. Talia Markez, his staff member came to his side. "Talia, contact Century Leader Castro and tell him to deploy his men around the coucil chamber, tell them, no one is to disturb the meeting. Benitez Family members and Elders will be allowed, and Teresa Chavez, no others." Talia pulled out her comm and contacted Castro.
"I'd like to hear your point of view about what causes the current tensions, if that's the right word..."
Teresa spotted the guards, and before Carlos could even start she said "Excuse me for a moment.". She ran out of the Chamber and asked Miguel to call off the guards. Then she returned back and awaited Carlos' response.

"Im sorry. I cant continue. You see, one of my closest brothers in my family just ran away because of a misunderstanding, and I cant contact him. I've been worried sick,...but I know he will be listening to what is said here, so i'm appealing; [color=yellow]
Please dont walk away from everything we've achieved just because of 1 word. Dont break your promise to me, to stick by us to the end. It's a misunderstanding. He didn't know, and he diddnt mean to upset you. He's apologised. There is no need to punish me, the rest of the family, and yourself, for 1 word he used carelessly. Please let me talk to you. You still have our respect. Please don't abandon us. Let me talk to you.
((( Friend, please get on Xfire so I can talk to you. )))
Miguel was alittle perturbed, One of his most powerful responsablities was to protect the Elders, but in this case he was willing to go along with Teresa. He picked up his comm "Castro, pull the men back from the building, form a half mile perimeter. No one disturbes this meeting, comprenda?"
