Purchased a Gallic Cruiser, obtained a GRN ID and I'm flashing GRN iff. Unfortunately, my rep is not good enough to purchase guns for the ship. This makes no sense to me. I cannot do missions to increase my rep and I have to rely upon others to assist me.

Better solution: Fix the rep requirements so that it requires equal rep to obtain both ship and guns. Ship without guns = no fun.

You still need to be guard repped to purchase equipment on a guard station, even if the guard ID doesn't exist.

I think there is some problem with server. I have +0,8 rep with GRP (by bribes) and still cant buy ID. Also missions are not working now.

Find someone with the cruiser and enough rep to buy the guns for you.

GRN never had a Guard rep, nor Guard ID. So that can't e the problem. Where are you trying to buy guns? I worked for me on Dijon a few hours ago

Only place I know of to buy Gallic Cruiser guns is on Dijon. I got the Cruiser and the ID, but I'm not on friendly enough terms to purchase guns. My point is, is that if you are on good enough terms to have the ship, you should be able to purchase the guns.

Isn't Dijon GRP? If it is your rep is not good enough with them.

Dijon is GRP, not GRN.

Working as designed. IDs require 0.89. Capital ship weapons as well. Run a mission, or as a friendly faction member to help out with one. Gallic capship guns are also available in Anjou (I believe), one of the systems accessible by gate from IDF.
