Sreenshots and windowed mode

I got a 2nd monitor which I connect to my laptop and ever since, I've been playing in windowed mode to be able to view FL in the 2nd monitor. Since then, my screenshots are not being saved in the 'Freelancer shots' folder. I tested returning to full screen mode, and it fixed it. When in full screen, the game returns to the laptop screen monitor.

Has anyone had this problem before and know of a solution?

I used windowed mode with a single monitor, and the screenshots get saved.

Are you sure you have the FL window active when you press print screen? If its not active, the keyboard and mouse input gets ignored by freelancer.

I'm out of ideas then.

If its very important to you, you might install XFire (freeware) or Fraps (recording videos is limited unless you buy it I dunno how it is with screenshots) and make screenshots with that instead. Chances are that wont work either, for some reason.

Well, the funny thing is, I came to know that screenshots saved themselves automatically in that folder not so long ago at all. I used to open 10 Paint windows to paste a full chat (still dont know how to retrieve chat logs, see). It feels as if I had found the pearl, and it was then stolen from me:D

EDIT: I'm a smuggler, shots are vital.

Try installing Xfire. It also allows you to make screenshots there on top of recording videos, although you need like a supercomp for the vids to run smoothly.

Oh sorry, I do have xfire and have used it for that, it just slows my game so much that I only use it when I got to film.

Old thread, but I have the same situation. Print screen does not save the ss into the folder. I figured out, the sreenshot is in the clipboard.
Does anyone know a way to get the screenshots stored into the folder?
