ONLY way to get an AI ID back then was through Special RP Approval and was only given by an admin.
So? Doesn't matter what happened two years ago, what matters now is that someone could set up the same ship.

Quote:@Hielor: Periodically random changes to the wording of an ID tends to do that. Before, the actions of the character holding an AI ID were depicted by the ship's IFF (Meaning, a character with an AI ID but an LPI IFF would be able to do what the LPI ID allowed.).
That's nice. Doesn't mean that you're somehow exempt from the rules of the ID. Nothing stopping you from getting a spec ops ID, since you have a valid SRP.

I've found your old account Raisu, that was removed during the forum crash. It seems it is entierely deleted. However your threads are still here and I still have access to the old SRP section, both denied and accepted applications. I went through the 20 pages and haven't found any mention of Guardian.059, nor thread except those you have made in Stories & Biographies.

It seem this char was deleted a while back for inactivity. Though you may have re-created it since, we still maintain the policy that if an SRP ship isn't played in so long that it gets deleted by the auto wipe we will count the SRP as being finished. This means you cannot have a Spec OPs ID on that ship. If you chose an AI ID you must abide by its conditions.

Hielor, the comment made towards eoJdahiJ was ... for eoJdahiJ's post as he was claiming that I did not have a Special RP.

You're right though.
I know it happened two years ago.
I know someone can set up the same ship.

Doesn't negate the fact that the AI ID was obtained when they were only available through SRP Approval.

You're also right that "nothings stopping me from getting a spec ops ID since I have a valid SRP".... Except for the bloody fact that the SRP is an AI and not a Special Operative.

Little bit of knowledge for ya,
The Special Operative ID was in the mod back then as well, however the ID requested in the SRP was the AI ID.

Actually, the only characters that have been deleted for inactivity on that specific account are Sigma. One and Riku.Corraine. The character Guardian.059 I specifically kept active for my return to the server knowing that if it got deleted the SRP Approval would be gone as well.

This means you're information, Del, is quite incorrect.

eoJdahiJ, that sounds about right. I was aware my old forum account is gone and have made sure my threads were still available. I've been on a vacation from the game for quite some time, checking in from time to time to keep a of my key ships active.

I fail to see why the fact that you obtained the AI ID prior to it changing should mean that you can use it the way it was before.

If I obtained a smuggler ID while it still allowed me to use a ptrain, does that mean I can still do so even though it's now a Freelancer ID and doesn't let me use a ptrain?

Its not about using the ID way it was before, its about the character's SRP itself continuing as it is, without any changes and keeping the character's actions within what was approved for the SRP.

Bit disappointed that this thread went from me attempting to provide some information to someone that was encountered the other day in order to clear some confusion that had occured (which is why it was in flood to begin with), all the way to the legitimacy of my special RP character.

But oh well, its a General Discussion now.

Does this mean that pre-existing SRPs can apply for a spec op id?
