Good, then the role play will follow that. Look, you can blame the Omicroners all you want for this problem, but that is just another cop out. We have been asking for FR5s against people abusing the Freeports for a long time. The Zoner factions would not do it, that is not only the Omincroners but the TAZ and OSI as well. Now you want to help the Sairs? Great, that is what I like to hear, but in a Faction Right 5 request on the RR, the RHA-RF, the Reavers and the Mandolorians and everything will stop like a buzzer sounded. You dont like the way I approach it, to bad, I am a Corsair, I am role playing a Corsair.

You must have misread my post. I wasn't "coping out" Omicroners. I was saying that I respected their claim to that space as an Official faction. That all three of us had to share our NPC faction and respect each other's different relations. It was never my choice that we would be all split up, but it happened anyway. And we had to deal with it as best we could in our RP. And in turn, FR5 could not work without the consent of all of us. A game-mechanic issue that we cannot control. We tried to see if we could split up the NPC faction but it didn't work out. Not our fault. Regardless though I will try my best to take responsibility.

And please do not hide behind the fact that you are roleplaying a Corsair. Based on what I have seen here and elsewhere I can see that this goes more-so OORP than inRP. Just because you roleplay a Corsair doesn't give you a free pass to arrogance without confrontation.

Just because we shoot corsairs is not a reason to be FR5'd from all the zoner bases.

I agree, not all of them in any case.

However, shooting sairs then docking in full view of them warrants a stiff GTFO from theta freeport admins, and a warning to stay away or be shot by FP Defense Forces (assuming theta stations have any).

Well, if everything would be that easy...

The game is limited, it has been a nutcase since the day it was launched, if every faction could just blow up those bases annoying them, there wouldn't be any house unlawful base.


@Summers: If they are caught undocking or docking from Freeport 9, 5 or Corfu, TAZ/OSI should go ahead and fill a FR5 on that character.

But, it scares me if FR5s will start being filled by zoners for things like:

This ship shot a corsair in New London.
This ship shot an outcast in Liberty.
This ship shot a Bounty Hunter in Kusari.
This ship shot LN.
This ship shot BAF.
This ship shot KNF.
This ship shot GRN.

If every faction desired to start pressuring the zoners with threats like "Banish them or we take over your station", then the Zoner NPC faction should get rephacked in all the IDs to hostile. Only Zoners would get to dock on zoner stations, in that way, no one could blame them, that's the only and best neutrality.

This might amaze you, but we've not been docking on Fp9, 5 or Corfu for a while now, and we still attack gamma. Omega 5 is not that far, Sigma 17, Kappa.

aye, but this is not make Zoners better. neutrality? sure, just do not hide criminal in your home when he underfire. one thing if he actually run from opponents more then 15k, but when he under fire from 5 ships? non-RP:nono:

One of the more interesting aspects of the Zoner-corsairs squabble is that attacks really decreased significantly(!!!) since those 2 systems are under lockdown(well atleast at times i play =evenings of GMT+1).
So it seems to me that, as expected people ARE too lazy in many cases to stage from one system further away, so the blockade is quite efficient!

And concernign the FR5 discussion- actually i would reall welcome it if zoners put up a strict policy...
something like: Staged a attack/retreated after a attack to a freeport?

Did it again? FR5 as the culprit doesn't honor the lifestyle of the zoners and threatens their position.

Do this siriuswide and unbiased and no one will have the rights to complain!

This might lead to manymany people being FR5ed at first but eventually people might learn that the zoners have teeth, too and stick to their laws.
