It's not really clear any more. The story threads say 4.86 begins in 818, the in game clues point towards it being 819, and if we take into account the passage of time as people were doing previously it should be 820.

It has been discussed elsewhere. One of the admins, I think, said it was 818, but a lot of news items spread across Sirius says 819. 819 it is then.

That is true, never thought about that. Heh, it might be 850 AS and all our characters aged 30 years without us knowing it:-) An official statement would be cool.
