or how do you think that gamma offers missions deep in gamma itself vs. BHG


no matter what you want - that is the lore, BHG raid gamma with their BEST possible gear and their BEST pilots.

if a motion was made ( a serious one ) to take away capital ships from factions that didn t have them in vanilla - i am sure the devs will answer to that. - but i also predict that its like shooting your own foot. - it won t only be "the others" who loose their ships .... it ll also be you ( you, not only new ppl - if ships are purged - they d be taken away from everyone .... being disco - everyone but SRP ppl )

We're better off than the Outcasts who are more or less purposely ignored by its enemies.

Edit: Which brings up another point. All three Corsair factions could just refuse to log in when such raids happen and/or refuse to interact with factions that partake in them. *shrugs*

if there is no evidence of reavers docking on freeports , why fr5 them?
they seem to be the only ones invading gamma that respect RP restrictions.
many others should take an example to that.

The reason corsairs hardly ever leave Gamma is because every time they log in , gamma is under attack
And if you are like me in a official faction , Just brace for the QQ from the indies if you don't help them because you are too busy with pirating and having fun.
Thats how it happens every time again.

also I am staying out of this topic now , because its like a bunch of dogs barking to each other about nothing.
if anybody has a problem with the situation , put the sad complaining whining effort that's being put here into actual RP and play the game.

If the Core indies are allying with unlawfuls, that's a breech of the ID restrictions and you're welcome to report them. I can assure you however that no BHG|Core- ships will be allying with the Hessians, Outcasts or any other criminals, and if for some reason a ship does, please screenshot it and PM me the screens, and it'll be sorted out internally.


Edit: And for the record, I have no problems whatsoever with these conflicts, they're fun and provide a significant entertainment. So as far as I'm concerned, there isn't really an issue here, if you don't like fighting, you're welcome to move somewhere else in Sirius, and if you don't think Gamma should be attacked, then don't respond to the attacks and pretend it is so.

At least the Reavers have the decency to fly 5 minutes more from FP1 or where ever they come from. Kudos to them for that.

What I don't understand is why people are taking about FR5's in the first place. I said it many times and I'll say it again: we never asked for the Zoners to FR5 anybody. I am naive enough to think that official factions and unofficial groups will have the decency to respect the InRP restrictions. Yes, I said factions and groups because we never asked the Zoners to restrict access to entire NPC factions, just specific groups. If the Zoners decide to FR5 those who don't respect their InRP decisions is not our problem, but we never asked for that in all the oorp Skype talks.

Zelot does have a point, I fail to see why Gamma can't have the same defenses as Alpha or Eta or why Corsair bases like Cadiz or Leon can't hurt a CSV while bases like Ronneburg, Freital or Freistadt rape a battleship in about 2 minutes. But hey. that's just Corsair Q_Q, right?

This whole thing has reached an epic level of OoRP'ness and lolwuterry and I'm getting tired of it. For some reason people confuse the InRP actions of the Corsairs with OoRP whining and that is not the case. Our problem doesn't lie with the raid themselves, but with the RP aspects surrounding them. InRP the Corsairs can't just look the other way like we did for a long long time. In terms of OoRP Montezuma is right. If someone doesn't like those lolraids just don't log or go hug the Prox like a boss and feed on your enemies' Q_Q and whining because they can't get a blue text on you.
