Depends, I got into the course I have been trying to get into for a long time today - with my better half helping make that happen - and I made him a bunch of newspaper roses with paint and ribbons and and... yeah, you get the point... (sun) Seriously, they are kinda ugly, but eh.

Doesn't have to be commercialised. But it is a stupid concept I mean really... ONE day a year you are supposed to celebrate love. What about the other 364?

If you truly have someone who loves and cares for you and about you, it would follow that you show them love and gratitude throughout the year. Valentine's day is merely a tool to make money from boyfriends trying to get girls into bed. For girls, it has become a reason to breakup with their bf because, obviously, if he doesn't spend enough on Valentine's day he isn't worth it and doesn't 'love' them enough.
