[color=#FFFFFF]I tried to love you I thought I could
I tried to own you I thought I would
I want to peel the skin from your face
Before the real you lays to waste
You told me I'm the only one
Sweet little angel you should have run
Lying, crying, dying to leave
Innocence creates my hell
Cheating myself still you know more
It would be so easy with a whore
Try to understand me little girl
My twisted passion to be your world
Lost inside my sick head
I live for you but I'm not alive
Take my hand before I kill
I still love you, but, I still burn
Yeah, Love, hate, love
Oooh, Love, hate, love
Yeah, Love, hate, love
Marauders are synthetic creatures derived from turians and mutated by Reaper technology that appear in Mass Effect 3.
Capabilities
Offensive
Marauders are armed with Phaeston assault rifles.
Defensive
Marauders possess a layer of shields that make them more durable in battle. They also have the ability to resurrect allies and coat them in scab-like armor plating.
Tactics Edit
It is advisable to keep constant pressure on Marauders during a fight. Marauders that are not busy firing or taking cover will fortify allies or resurrect fallen comrades at an alarming rate.
It is a priority to deal with Marauders first unless there are other deadlier foes on-site, such as Brutes or Banshees. This is due to a Marauder's ability to provide shielding support to other husk units.
Use Overload or Energy Drain to take out their shields and make them more vulnerable.
On Normal difficulty, it is possible to make a one-hit kill with the sniper rifle by performing a head-shot paired with Adrenaline Rush and a suitable ammo type.
With multiple weapon upgrades (and in certain circumstances or harder difficulties, armour) or rail amps, Infiltrators, or turian or human soldiers can be lethal. An Infiltrator can use its tactical cloak to kill off Marauders in just one shot (although not on gold) with one of the high-power sniper rifles. A turian soldier can use Marksman to increase headshot damage through the Rank 5 headshots evolution by 25%, or a human soldier can use adrenaline rush to increase damage by 45-65% damage. Both latter options can achieve the same results.
