Anyone who knows me knows I am into furry stuff.
I have characters who are animals yes,

However

Any that I use in Discovery are human, whether they be original characters for the game or conversions... anthro characters really lack a place/origin here in most cases, and explaining that stuff can be too much of a hassle to be worth the trouble. Its a scifi thing with humans, use human characters.

Not only does it save a bunch of trouble, it also keeps RPs easier on the brain and just plain makes more sense. That and violent reactions from players here :P

Humans usually hate anything not human, and while I would like to see more aliens in disco than just the nomads... they cannot be furries, they just can't.

Would like that too, I mean, like I said above, it's space, and in space it would be obvious to see something different right?

They could be furries too I guess, but the current concept of furries in disco has exagerated traits
If furries could be viewed as something like a humanoid mammal(feline, canine) like the khajit in The Elder Scrolls it would have got a more nicer approach to the other players I guess, but the current concept is too cartoony in my opinion, altough they look cute and fluffy, I doubt that the Disco/Freelancer Universe is the best place for cute and fluffy things.

Furries are everywhere man. They are like a popular trend or something.:P
On a more serious note, you'll find them on any community. If I'm not mistaken there are furries on Star Trek Online 'cause of that popular taste. It's like freaking Thundercats or something.

Personally, I don't care - the only issue I have with other players is if they are lolwuts or not. If you are a great RP'er, you may as well play with a beaver, a wall or a tuna.

And honestly, there's stuff way worse than furries to be worried about on FL.

I dont have a problem with furries.

Hell, I like anime.

But the thing is that nobody explains their characters properly.

As you said, they expect to be embraced by a cosmopolitan society. And yet humanity is still tearing at each other over the colours of skin or the language people speak, or even, what flag they wave at a sports fixture. To think that we'd outgrow that is pretty optimistic, to put it in a polite way.

I gave up looking at characters in general because of this. It's not just furries, but they do tend to represent the epitome of what's wrong with RP around here.

I'd say, if a character interests you, find out more. Until it does though, don't give a damn. Just like real life.

Genetic/biomechanic Trans/post-human is the wave of the future.

That said, all furries should be drawn and quartered, then served steamin' at your local chinese buffet.

The problem with troubleshooting is that real trouble shoots back.

If I do that can I also go along with Wells' assertion that these creatures are a profanation of the image of God?

I will be very reasonable in this post and only say a few things.

This is an RP server. We RP whatever we feel like. Be it Battlestar Galactica(=CR=), Star Trek (The klingons aboard Freeport 6), Sentient Machine races, Anthromorphic characters... Its all the same. Its RP.

If you find it interesting. Good for you. If you don't. Same as well.

It's your choice whether or not to accept it.

Yes. I play as several Anthromorphic characters in FL. I'm probably one of the last who does. And in such, I've had a great experience from those who enjoy the RP and those who hate it. There are pro's and con's to every character we make. Proven fact. And there will be those who like and dislike it.

Point being.

Behind every RP there is a very real and same occurance.

Every person making the RP is a human being simply making a story to share to the world.

You need to see a shrink. For I feel you had a very bad childhood.
