Care to add some information about that nice-looking, but mostly unremarkable video?

I was formerly know as Spiritar.

It's been a while.

it's a tech demo project that Im currently working on. The goal is to make a playable single player, FL style game using modern graphics.

Currently it supports:
-> ini based system editing (placing solars, system properties).
-> ini based archetypes (models that can be used as ships, solars etc).
-> ini based shiparch.
-> some shader effects.

Wish me luck to finish it, at least alpha version.

Well, good luck to you and the dozen other people who are also doing it and have disappeared from the Freelancer community after a few tech demos.

There are at least 6 projects, all of which are posted, praised, subjected to godlike future of FL...only to die down and vanish in the course of 3 months or so.

Perhaps team up with existing enthusiasts and actually start making something?
