WoW Love or Hate?

Hey ladies + gents,
Just wondering on what the Disco FL community's stance on WoW is in general, I play the game and generally like it (have my own raiding guild and all that jazz www.warcraft-guild.de on the EU-wildhammer server) and it can be pretty dam cool if you dont get addicted to it. What do the rest of you think? :)

It's not really the sort of story that I like... I prefer grittier fantasy these days, with a more human element... so I find it hard to enjoy that sort of thing, really. Too much magic.

good game, i played on the hav0c private server ( didnt feel like paying monthly.

I played on Personal servers too...but at that time private servers were too buggy,so I quit.

I hate WoW,,, I have played it but I was so unlucky taht I managed to pick a server ffull of anti-social people,,,

I couldn't find anyone from my province (we are french in quebec so)

When I tried to join a friend's private server,,, it was too complicated and the game was always crashing

And it's too cartoon for me

It took away many of my good friends who became no-lifes and nowaday has no other interests but WoW.
It's like a drug.
I'll never play WoW.

@ Xing looks like we had the same issue... I have cut contacts with 3 of my friends because they were too addicted to the game,,,

for example I was willing to go outside but they wanted to stay on their games,,,
