Well I'm gonna go ahead and jump in this race.

I've been an active member for almost 3 years now and an Angel for a few months
And I'm on the forums/in game almost everyday.

Never been sanctioned once.

I know all the server/forum rules and I am a fairly nice person, But i have lost my cool a couple of times.
But I know when to keep a level head.

I love working with people and I help whenever I can.

I don't have experience as a mod but I am more than willing to learn.

This is the best community I've been a part of and I would be happy to help out around the community.

Been here for quiet a while doing this and that to enjoy the game. I've been the faction leader of two factions and am the current leader of the GRP, doing a lot of work to keep Gallia's government running.

I'll be first to say I've done my share of goofing off. I like having fun. This is a game after all. But what really bugs me the most is others not having fun. Sure, you can't please everyone but hey, you have to work at making things better than they were before. Being a mod might allow me to help you guys out to make Disco a more enjoyable place for the community.

I would Like to Be a Moderator, i am well attuned to talking to people who need help aiding them and even showing them were stuff is if some one is breaking a rule a will first notify then if their rule breaking persists, i was proceed to execute swift justice on them in what ever form is allowed. I will uphold all of the Laws of the Server and of Sirius and all of the Rules of Moderators. I am a quick learner and easy to get along with.

I prefer to be drafted into service because of a need. Volunteering makes m pasta soft but if your sure then lets do this.

im old. ive done this before. I exspect the best out of every single person i meet.

That means reading the damn rules, not acting like a jerk, being a friend to a stranger / new person.

Games , this game, is a melting pot of alot of different types people.. young.. old.. bored, but we all like it thats what we have in common and thats what we need to remember what we all share here.

Well most will not think i am suited to "moderate" but i will apply anyway. I have very few friends on forum so would not take anyone side, or be biased. I am on forum all the time, and read posts all the way through. I am not very comp savvy, but i am sure that is not needed as a mod.
I will note that i have been an admin in other game servers, and was known as a hard hitting, no nonsense type of admin. So if you want a person that will lock things down before they get out of hand? I am your man.

PS. Real name, age and other personel info availible on request.

I'll go ahead and apply.

I won't bother you with a long post, I'll just say I have been around long enough to know the rules, I don't get twisted up in the politics, and I am old enough to know that this is a game, and disco is not dieing.

I told myself I wasn't going to do this. Whoops.

Why come Zukeenee?
  • I care about general organization around the forums. If a post or thread is in the wrong section, I'll move it, or tell the poster to try again in the correct section.
  • I care about keeping heated arguments and insults to a minimum. I'll do what I can to maintain civility where possible, or lock problematic threads and topics when necessary.
  • I've already made a habit of checking peoples' signatures when they appear to be too large. I'll keep everyone inside of the 700x250 boundaries.
  • I want to help the people on our forums who genuinely need help.
  • I'm lurking the forums here more than half the time I'm awake. I can keep an eye out for potential issues.
  • I work well with others. I can communicate with other moderators and admins to get things done in a timely manner.
  • I'm quite familiar with Discovery's rules and customs. I've been here for more than six years, so I have a pretty good idea of what's acceptable and what's not.
  • I've previously worked with a moderator to organize one of our most heavily-used forum sections (on an alternate account).
  • I don't let personal problems with myself or with other people get in the way of work that needs to be done.
  • I'm an active member of this community.

I'€™m still a bit torn on this one. I don'€™t have a pressing desire to be a mod, but I also feel that people really don'€™t have any business commenting on the misbehavior of others if they aren'€™t willing to be a part of the solution.

I'€™m a pretty straight shooter. I like role playing because it gives a very human feel to something like a video game. That being said I think it'€™s very important for people to be respectful of each other for that to work properly. My work in the real world deals with promoting respectful treatment of all people and protecting human dignity among other things. It'€™s something that has always been important to me.

I don'€™t care where people are from or what factions they join. The more diversity there is the more interesting and appealing this community is. I want to see all the members of this community have as much fun as they can here and I'€™m interested in doing anything I can to help that happen while working to that people are treated well and discourage behavior that is detrimental to this community.

Been interested in this for a while now.
I left not too long ago as the game didn't really hold much fun for me. Recent enhancements and life changes have changed that and I'd like to be a part of the community again.

In this, I want to help keep the community as a good place for everyone to be and for everyone to enjoy. People make mistakes / get angry but I take a small amount of enjoyment out of resolving these conflicts and helping folks calm down.

As others have said, respect is pretty key. When I first joined and for a while after, there's no doubt I wasn't the most respectful person and treated others badly. Since then though I hope that I've become a better person. I always try to keep any debates purely on the topic and always try to clear any bad air that I fear may be clouding arguments.

When it comes to bias, I'm not involved in any faction decision making, nor do I really care if this faction or another succeeds. As long as the players involved enjoy themselves, rules aren't broken and it's overall good for the community, I'm happy to support it any way I can.

I know most folks probably don't really know who I am or care to know but I hope I've left a good impression through the forums and on skype. I'd like to help keep this community together and happy.
