Unfortunately, over a handful of subsequent iterations, it somehow morphed into a Zoner faction, of all things. Oh well.

First faction was USI. You know, I was just trading in a Rhino, as a newbie (used to do Helium-Plutonium). Ran into a USI player and basically he talked me into it:D. Had a fun time there.

None you listed. My first faction i was in/co-ran was a junker faction back in 4.83. We mined/traded/pirated/took on hessiens, and Corsairs along side the BAF. 4.84 killed the faction with new rules.

Though the GMG| is a mix of several vote options, the main reason that I joined was to shoot and kill all those nasty pierat buggers crawling all over the Sigmas. Thanks to the powertraders wet dream, the Diamond-Niobium route, there were no short supply of 2milordie:ers!

I still have my first char/ship. My first char was BHG ID.

I still have my first character as well, but since he was a freelancer, there was no faction involved. But similar to what Felix did, I saw something that Athenian had posted on the forums about a contract so that the S/D could complete a weapons contract. Go get x amount of this cargo, deliver it to x base, post proof, and get paid for it. Rinse, repeat, times about 10.

And the rest of it is the history of the how the S/D became the BHG| ... My first BHG character - well, he still exists, but I've had to change his ships so many times due to promotions and such that he's a multi-talented person. That and I have an entire squadron of BHG ships myself ...

When Athenian ended up with personal issues, that's when I stepped in and took over the charlie foxtrot that was (and is) the BHG| and BHG|Core.

The only other official faction that I actually have characters in is the K|Hara. I have indy LN, LPI, Order, GRN, Order, and corsair characters available, but they're not 'faction' members.
