Biography:

I come from a poor family. I was born and raised on Manhattan and for the most of my life my family and I existed in the middle class of society. I managed to receive a decent education. My skills excelled greatly when it came to dealing with technology and computer software. My education made me smarter, however my degree could not get a me a favorable job. Right after graduation, at age 18, I enlisted in the Liberty Navy. The navy boys were recruiting more than the usual since they needed more pilots to cover their losses during the major battle operations against Rhineland and they paid well too. For 8 years I developed and honed my fighting skills. Amongst my peers I was the best in terms of piloting all sorts of fighter craft. Someone from high command however, misunderstood my potential and promoted me to serve on battleship “Serenity” in the investigation and software development department. Of course I handle computers well, and cracking codes and tracing encrypted signals in Texas and Bering was a piece of cake, but I wanted to enter the combat once again…

In Magellan, after reconnaissance mission, a guardian wing managed to capture a Hacker and bring him in for interrogation. The task of interrogating him was left to the crew aboard the “Serenity”. I heard they tortured the poor bastard for weeks before extracting the coded information from him. The codes were given to me, as everyone trusted my abilities by that time. There was only one time when I saw the Hacker before they took him to prison. We just passed each other and for about 10 seconds our eyes met. He looked at me with a rather intelligent look and calmly and coolly said: “Be careful with that disc, boy, the information in it holds many truths that I’m not sure your sanity could bare.” Normally my orders (and I wondered why all the time?!) were to only decipher the codes and submit the info. I was more or less restricted from examining it. My frustration increased even further when that Hacker told me this. For once I wanted to feel like I have the power over my decisions and I wanted to know more.

After eliminating all of the super-duper-hyper-smarter-extra-giga defense parameters of the encoding, I was horrified at what I saw next. Suddenly, on the screen before me appeared, schematics of ships, based on alien vessels. I also saw disguising experiments performed on live people, using alien DNA. Next came plans of the navy to enforce laws that prohibit ordinary civilians from having the right to own a weapon. It smelled of corrupt treason against the Libertonian society.

All of the things I saw were aiming to brutally repress the nation while exploiting it out of its human resources. I couldn’t just sit in my chair and do nothing. I took hold of the secret coordinates that apparently the Hacker had stolen from the navy. They suggested that there should be a jump gate in the New York system to a system called Alaska, where all the experiments took place. I have only heard rumors about Alaska. I just had to check for myself.

So I got in to my Guardian, which I have not flown for months now, and headed for the coordinates that passed right through the minefield. Somehow I found my way and reached the jump gate. I activated it. Once I was on the other side my ship was bathed in blinding light. I heard numerous messages on all comm. channels. The voices wanted my identification and were yelling at me for entering a restricted area. Suddenly, all weapon platforms and battleships around me opened fire. Only my lightning reflexes saved me from the barrage and I quickly jumped back to New York. I relocated all power to the engines and blasted away back to Baltimore. On my way there I heard on all comms my ID number and name being thrown around in all channels and something about me being a spy and traitor. It took me 5 seconds to realize that I have become a convict. I couldn’t dock on any military station now. I felt betrayed and I felt alone. I had no one to call and I knew I had to get away from the core systems. Right now I am sending this message from Mactan base in Magellan; the Hackers can be real nice to you if you have something to offer in exchange.
This is the only place I won’t be found by the navy and I reasoned that you are the right people to whom I should turn. I want to know the truth about that top secret information and if it is true, I want to stop the corrupt government of Liberty from executing their evil plans.

Have you learned your lesson?
-Absolutely, not at the time of the sanction though. When I had a pirate alt character, a trader I was trying to pirate did the same to me and I felt really bad, I felt as if my time was being wasted on this game if people could cheat so easily. It was then I realized how awful it must have been for the other person that I cheated. I also learned that this is just a game and if I happen to fail at it, there is no point to ruin someone else’s day. Not to mention that after 4 more years on the server I have grown to appreciate the Disco community as there is no other like it. I’ve never been sanctioned since.

Biography:I grew up on Manhattan near a commercial docking center. It was there that first worked operating cleaning equipment. Eventually I became a cargo loader, and got to know many of the traders and pilots who frequented the docks. They told me of distance sectors and planets, and of the many different people who inhabited the galaxy. One of their favorite topics was pirates. They would argue and cuss about the "lowly blood-sucking trade lane leeches!" night and day. They also talked about the times when Liberty Police Inc. would save their profits when the patrols would pass through. It was from these stories that I grew interested in the heroic efforts of the LPI.

After working and saving credits for a few years, I bought a cheap Patriot and enlisted into the LPI. I was based out of West Point Academy, the station where my cousin Louis was first stationed as a mechanic. There I was known as "the classic rookie" by the officers, as I openly showed off my intense feelings of honor and justice. I worked and trained there for a couple of years before I was deployed into a squadron patrolling New York. As I patrolled with the other officers, I began to feel outcasted. My fellow officers were more concerned in earning an extra credit here and there than upholding the laws and justice of Liberty. Over time, I became slightly disgusted with most of the squad members and their greedy pursuits.

Soon, I was moved into a new squad lead by a famous LPI captain. He was well known for his anti-smuggling efforts at the jumpgates, and I was eager to work with such a well-renowned officer. As I patrolled with him, my view of him slowly melted. He seemed to be just as greedy and sick as the rest of the police. It seemed I was the only good cop in New York! On one jump-gate patrol, we came across a small transport carrying passengers to Manhattan. After thorough scans, we discovered a load of cardimine in the cargo hold. Eager to uphold the law, I demanded the cargo. Then, to my dismay, the pilot of the ship spoke directly to the captain and offered a bribe. To my further astonishment, he accepted! Immediately I objected and began to argue with the captain. Then, to my utter amazement, he claimed that I had taken the bribe, and was breaking Liberty law! He and the other ships fired several shots to disable my engine, but some fancy flying had me en-route to West Point.

Upon my arrival, I stormed outraged to the station's commanding officer. When I explained the situation, he just brushed off my story and told me to "go take some R and R...". Totally disgusted, I hopped in my damaged ship and exited the system before any trouble caught up with me. It was then that I learned about the Hellfire Legion, a force dedicated to exactly what I wanted most: To restore justice and perfection to Liberty and to bring down it's corrupt military.

Reasons for joining us: I want only to bring justice the corrupt Navy, Police, and government of Liberty.

Biography: I grew up on Planet Pittsburgh in the roughest part of the Corridera Plateau. My father was a heavy machine operator for one of the leading planet side boron mining companies. Making a living was tough for my father and all of the workers at the mine, but despite the poverty, the workers were always cheerful and ready to have a good time. It's from my father and his pals that I gained a knack for fixing things. Right out of high school, I hit the mines. I gained something of a reputation among the workers, and even got a job as a mechanic repairing ships at one of the main trade centers.

It was at the landing pad that I first began my association with the Liberty Navy. A recruiting ship from West Point Academy landed looking for new mechanics to work the repair bays at the station. The pay was good, so I took the job and left home. At the age of 26, I was recruited into the Liberty Navy Mechanics Corp.

Reasons for joining us: Shortly after my conscription into the Mech Corp., I began to notice some suspicious behavior among the officers and crew on board the battleships and stations that I worked on. There were problems in the paperwork that went unexplained and unnoticed. Guns and parts off of impounded ships that would go missing, thousands of credits would be "lost somewhere in the system". When I would mention the problems to my superiors, they would be procrastinated, brushed aside, and eventually forgotten. Soon, I became fed up with the dishonesty displayed by the crews and officers.

I put up with the dishonest behavior for 5 years until I came across a display of greediness that pushed me over the edge. A mostly intact Rhino was brought in by a particularly fishy officer after supposed "smuggling bust". I was ordered to repair the vessel, then have it shipped planetside to the officer's private hanger. This obviously suspicious behavior was enough to get me into the paperwork for the ship. After some snooping around, I discovered that the ship was hauling boron from my home planet! This disgusting show of corruption force me to leave the Navy once and for all.

After I formally left the Liberty Navy, I decided I was going to get as far away from Liberty military influence as possible, and co-bought a small transport with my new partner. After trading around for a while, we came across a job hauling some passengers to Manhattan. As much as I loathed Liberty, I agreed to the job. As our ship entered the New York system, we were stopped for a routine cargo scan by the LPI. As the scan commenced, my partner began to become upset. He then confessed he had a smuggled load of cardimine destined for Rochester. In fury, I agreed to let him pay off the officer just to get out of the situation. As he transferred the credits to the corrupt officer, there became a commotion in the formation. One of the pilots in the patrol was upset over the bribe. They then began to open fire on the good cop, claiming he had accepted the bribe and was corrupt. He fled, and in the commotion we jumped and escaped the system.

So here I am, thoroughly disgusted by Liberty and it's corrupt Police and Military. My wish is to eliminate the scum from the sector and reestablish justice in Liberty!

History: I started my life on the streets of Manhattan. In my naive youth I decided that i could stop my life of crime and help people. Long story short, after years of hard work and determination, my medical skills were not popular enough to make a living with. The population of this universe is always out to get the latest and the aesthetically pleasing. I am tired of people living for objects, instead of ideals. All of Liberty is corrupted, and I want to help surgically remove that which is spoiling what could be an honorable society.

Though i am a dedicated and competent martial artist (which really came in handy breaking into the Navy hangar and hi-jacking a defender), my piloting skills are limited, and i would consider myself a novice. I am eager to learn, however, and I hope you will accept me into your ranks.

Biography: I grew up on Planet Houston with my two cousins.Well I also want you to know that i am son of the Ex-Navy Captain Marcus Walker.I was barely a year old when he left me.He was killed in action while protecting President jacoby from getting killed by Two Navy battleships in zone-21.He sacrificed himself by destroying his cruiser along with two navy battleships which were blocking the path of the president jacoby.During nomad war when my dad left me with my mom on planet manhattan.Navy came to our house and killed my mother and almost killed me.But the order came in time and saved me from the Navy.They then took me to my aunt on Planet houston so that i would be safe from the hands of navy.I was brought up by my aunt and my identity was kept safe so that no one knows who I was.My uncle Erich Kreiger was a Lieutenant in navy.He left the navy during the nomad war because he was warned by my father.He later became a freelancer .He was like my dad to me .He was the one who made me a great fighter pilot in his Eagle.From childhood I was interested in navy.So i decided to join Navy.I was selected and latr graduated from westpoint academy.I was a great lieutenant in the navy and was one of their best.One day while i was packing my bags to go to the battleship Rio grande where i was appointed i got a picture of me with my mom and dad.I asked my uncle that who were they and he told me that they were my real parents.He later told me everything about them.I was sad but also proud of my parents.I Later resigned from the navy and was upset.My uncle gave me his eagle and told me to do what i needed to do.I took his eagle and started operating against navy from buffalo base in NY.I started taking out many of their corrupted officers.But soon during a fight i was ambushed by the navy in california during one of my assasination mission.I thought it was my end but suddenly a group of Fighters came towards me and started fighting the navy.Soon the navy fighters were turned to dust by them.I asked them who they were and they told me that they were from Helfire Legion as i wanted to now more about them they were gone.So i cam back to base and researched about them.Later i found out that they were Ex-Navy pilots like me who wanted to remove corrupted officers from navy like me.I instantaneously knew that this is were I belong.
