not to offend Jinx, but Civ Shuttle is ugly, and there is really not enough of LFs to chose from.

I have flied all of them multiple times and now I have no wish to return back to that ships.

Some of them are boring, because I've spent lots of hours on them- Griffin, Arrow, Surveyor. Anothers are just ugly - Civ shuttle, Falchion. Some of them I honestly dislike - Scimitar, T-Shark...

What to do? Steal House and faction tech?

There's enough transports and enough snubs, the real problem is the lack variety in civilian weapons.

Well yes, VHFs are at least have class 10 weaponory as option

Not everyone is willing to fork out 60million or more for a set of mediocre class 10s simply because some guy decided he wanted to buy out the other dealers and effectively monopolise the code market, while refusing to sell to a big chunk of the server population...

We need more than debs and flashies. Especially with the tech nerfs the way they are.

As far as roleplay is concerned, i'm quite frustrated that we cannot use a heavy tanker. The cap at 3,600 is leaving most attempts at individual trading factions dead in the water. I couldn't give a monkeys about a 5k transport. But the tanker has many opportunities in RP as well as money related possibilities.

Yeah I agree, I do have many choices Buuuut. I don't think I'd ever take an arrastra, scraper, courbe, or a plier into combat solely because they're mining ships, and I just wouldn't feel like I'm a hardcore pirate in a mining ship, I'd just feel as If i were desperate or something...But you've given me doubts on everything I've previously said. So with that In minf I'll check them out, and maybe end up owing you...

Oh, So that's where all the other codename dealers went.
Now I know why SN&C is dead now...nothing but cloaks and CAU8's.....

Gunboats and weapons is what we need. There are plenty of good VHFs, HFs and LFs you can fly as civvy as well as transports (heck, you can even fly Bretonian royal liner!)

VHFs - Sabre, Eagle, Wasupu, RT - all these are darn good

HFs- Bayonet, Switchblade and Maurader here you have 3 out of the 4 best HFs and you can use em without any nerf.
Not to mention the fact that with Maurader you can use faction guns and then have core of any other HF since Marauder have 11k core normally.

LFs - already mentioned, Scimitar packs a lot of punch.

*Shrugs* I won't point fingers, but I'm sure you'd know what I was on about if you took a look at the code weapon distribution.

ANYWAY.

I've always liked the civilian ships, some I haven't enjoyed the SIGHT of, but from a purely gameplay perspective they're all right.

As I said earlier. It's the WEAPONS we need. Flashpoints are horrible for someone like, say, me. I can't hit with them a lot of the time because my target gets all froggy on me.

I agree, It was fine until energy nerfs. All we needed was a factions permission to use their guns as a civvy. Now even when you do that, you suffer. So new weapons would actually help more than ships.
