Can a Zoner ID'd cap dock on a playerbase within House space? And can a Zoner ID'd ship defend a playerbase, since the base has no affiliation? Same question also goes for generic ID's. Many of the trading factions have the following text:
Quote:"■ 1. Can attack pirates and terrorists in self-defense, to protect another lawful trader, or in defense of corporate bases of the same affiliation. "
As I see it, a Daumann-ship i.e, wouldn't be able to defend the base if the attackers ignore him.

Imo, each entity is allowed to defend their base. Question is, how do you define base "affiliation"...

There is more to it.

Like Outcasts attacking Outcast operated base? Are Outcasts permitted to attack Outcast owned base? Are Outcasts permitted to open fire on Outcasts in order to defend an Outcast owned base?

I hope that we will see a few rules about bases because right we just drop a few words on the emergency channel and we spawn cap ships

Nah, when it comes to base defence of non-official faction this always screwed up. Im also hope to see something that can prevent people blow base for lulz. rule or some sort of console defence...

As it is now, we might see pirates and lawfuls defending the same base. Might not happen on all bases, but there's certainly a possibility in many cases. And my original question on ID's is still standing. I got the answer on docking, but what about defending the base?
