Dave then detached a small cube which he slowly threw it and by the surprise of the entire crew aboard the bridge, the cube was levitating then slowly it separated into 2 shards revealing a small sphere which began to project an incredibly detailed map of the Icarus system.

Dave : This is our target.

He pointed towards Icarus star. Then he zoomed in. The quality and the beauty of the map was incredible.

Dave : That is Icarus station and that super structure alongside it, is The Bridge. The Vyrr Dominus will arrive from it. Afterwards we will need to make an intentionally system failure. The Bridge was designed to create that issue after the first ship to arrive. There is a possibility that other ships will come first, as in ... scouts. We hope that Dominus will get first, since that's the Vyrr tradition, the leader arrives first into their future territory. Once we The Bridge will shut down, we will begin to bombard Dominus' Rashaan. And then Wanderer will moore with the Rashaan and we shall board it. You will receive special weaponry and gadgets specifically to cripple any Vyrr forces aboard the Rashaan. *he pointed towards his handgun and other stuff* The main task is to neutralize Dominus and capture the Rashaan.

The map showed tactical movements of the presumed Cerberus fleet action.

Dave : Expect heavy resistance.

Then with a serious look.

Dave : Mark, if something goes wrong. You know what you have to do. *gave him the Neutrino HandGun* Shoot without hesitation. If Dominus will take over, I cannot have full control of myself.

Dave then made a nod and changed the map to a Vyrr homeworld.

Dave : That is a conquered world by the Vyrr, which was transformed into a synthetic super structure. What you see in the close vecinity are the Rashaans. Super giant warships that are capable of total control over a planet. Each Rashaan represents a nation, an unique trait within the Vyrr Expansion. The planet still has organic life but it's more ... a synthesis. All the habitable planets that once were of the great Core Federation *with regret he showed the prosperous capitols that were once*, were conquered.

Dave pictured all sorts of tragic events from the Vyrr War, planet assimilations, massacres, desperate fights, even his homeplanet from the alternate timeline, Valaria was hit. Some tears fell from his eyes to show that besides the augmentations he suffered he still had his heart intact.

Dave : Anyway, we must proceed asap. The Bridge is ready. Dominus will arrive. We will have a small coup d'etat for him.

He turned to face Dave, admiring his implants. So many good nicknames, lost forever in the fact that guy was his superior...

"Greetings, Mr. Synk. A pleasure to finally meet you"

Dave looked to Johnathan as he was happy to see him aboard the ship. He looked over his Prototype F armor, then he looked towards Mark giving him a smile showing he was pleased to see it.

Dave : So, Johnathan Cook, aboard the Wanderer within our ranks of Cerberus controlling on of our experimental armors... It is surprising how our candidates are fitting so well into our organization *smile* A pleasure to meet you as well, and call me Dave.

He then looked over the Vyrr Homeworld map again.

Dave : We will take them out. Basically only Dominus will arrive. That is the Vyrr custom, the leader comes first to see their future territory. They are well prepared, expect heavy resistance. But I have an ace under my sleeve.

As they spoke, the warship entered Icarus System. It was formed of only a super giant star, in it's orbit being the Icarus Station and the huge Dimensional Gate.


*Atmospheric Music*

The Wanderer emerged from hyperspace directly into the close vecinity of the Dimensional Gate. The Icarus station was on the right side of the gate, linked with it. It was very small compared to the massive structure. Because of the powerful electromagnetic fields surrounding the gate, there were very powerful discharges but not delivering any damage to the ships. Almost 200 Cerberus warships were gathered around the gate. When Wanderer entered, it was hailed by one of the flagships, it was one of Dave's Icarus Commanders, Matthew Stevenson.

Stevenson : "We will strive.."
Dave : "Until our wings will burn"
Stevenson : Good to see you Colonel. The Bridge is status quo. Ready to be used. Please proceed to the Communicator. When ready give the order.
Dave : Well done Commander Stevenson, please get the fleet in position. We need to get ready.

The Wanderer headed towards the Communicator, which was a docking attachment platform specially designed for a ship's bridge to connect to it and use it as a massive communication array.

Now THAT is something to look at.

"What... that...?"

Jonathan smiled as he heard that tiny voice at the back of his head.

"That, Lucy, is a marvel of engineering. A damn great one"

Then again, the prospect of confronting a war fleet of immense power wasn't really that marvelous. If anything, it was bloody terrifying...

The warship entered the Communicator. The structure activated it's gravitational locks to ensure stability of the ship, then some sort of platform link emerged from the Communicator as it approached the Wanderer's bridge. Then all from the sudden QAI said..

QAI : Warning. Bridge extension imbound.

Mark was looking suspicious at this matter as he didn't knew this "feature" from his vessel.

Dave : Trust me Mark, you're lady will be safe. Remember that all the ships have been upgraded.

The bridge of the ship was sealed with a powerful gravitron field and electromagnetic one and it begun to move. It suffered some serious design transformations as it was changing exactly into a huge Nano Pulsation Array with the floor becoming a giant holographic deck. The crew began to worry. The link was made.

Dave : This is Colonel Dave Synk towards Icarus command. Do we have signal from the "other" side ?

I.C.: Affirmative Colonel. The Bridge is ready.

Dave : Let's start it.

A giant panoramic view opened in front of the bridge members. Dave took steps into the giant holo platform. He turned back to his mates.

Dave : Today, Cerberus will show it's true might.

He had a strange glare in his synthetic eyes. Something was going on. All from the sudden his implants began to make some pulsations.

The giant Dimensional gate activated and right after, slowly a huge super structure began to emerge from the gate. It was the Vyrr flagship, Dominus. It was super massive, triple the size of the gate. As Dominus thundered through the space reaching the Communicator some strange sounds were heard. Dave recognized them. They were buzzing every sort of communication and were affecting the crew's mind. Because of the fields Dave used on the warship's bridge, the effect of the sounds were low.

Dave : Mark, Johnathan... remain tight.
