Thanks. This past year was the best year of my life, and I expect this next year to be even better.
And the cake I got at work was a Hummingbird Cake: a rich banana layer cake, chock full of pineapple & nuts and covered with cream cheese frosting.
It was fabulous.
Today is rather special this year, because last night I finished my last university assignment for the term, so now I'm free of deadlines until September. What a relief.
