It seems new players aren't wanted in this game

I currently have 5 characters

1. Stork - ALG ID
2. Rheinland Gunboat - Rheinland Military ID
3. Hegemon Baumann ID
4. Hegemon BMM ID
5. Starlifter - Zoner ID

You can have all these characters, but since they have different IDs, you can't have them in the same faction. If your Zoner ID character is part of you and your friends' faction, none of your other characters can be in that faction and all your friends' characters in that faction must also have a Zoner ID.

But do they have the same unofficial faction tag in their name?

EDIT: Ignore that. You met an Angel. A guy who is supposed to help out new players.

Also do note that the names have to hold some roleplay value. Eg: Lulzy.Lolwut is NOT a good name for a RP character. On the other hand "Arthur.Gray" is good or "Minerva" which refers to the name of the ship.

Angels aren't admins and wouldn't shoot you without a very, very very specific reason that happens once per year. If that person shot him, it wasn't an admin or an angel, just a lawyering player.

He DOES NOT remember the admin name, he deleted the character.


Back to the ID thing, Im more confused now.

1. We do not yet have a faction name so we are not in a faction.

I have used my Rheinland Gunship to escort my friends ALG transports, I believe that is ok.


But if I understand it correctly. If we end up with a Zoner faction, then we cannot use other ID's such as in liberty or rheinland where as we have the faction name in front of our character name?


All these rules are just too confusing for a game that is suppose to be fun.

It's probably best I just leave.

Edit: Ninja'd again. Damn, you guys are fast. Well, unfortunately you are unable to name the Angel.

However, that ship name isn't really appropriate for a RP name. That may be the reason he stopped you.

Admtahoe --

If you have a group of players who all want to play in the same FACTION (that means organization made by players) then you all must have the same ID.

That comes with the benefits and the disadvantages each ID allows. If you choose to use a Zoner tag you get all the benefits of the Zoner tag but you must conform to the rules the tag comes with. If you guys choose to RP a Zoner faction you must ALL have Zoner ID tags.

One last thing.


When people play a game, there is no reason why they have to play by everyone elses rules just because certain people want to play a certain way and they want to force everyone else play to their style.

That is why its a shooter/war game.



I once played another role playing game for 5 years, I had written hundreds of stories and thousands of pages of role play.

Some of us wanted to have wars and others wanted to sit in the town bar and just chat and raise their crops and not ever be attacked. It was nothing but a bunch of people trying to enforce their game play and style upon others.
