Writing it on the forums as I don't fancy trying to talk while being shot at by 2 GBs

Now somehow you want to kill Lane Hackers at any cost... but sometimes it's just too much:

- you cap-whore us big time ...never in anything smaller than a GB and never alone.. so min 2 GBs.. but yeah it's your choice... no problem for me.... you can just never kill me that way

- you are BHG right?

a) there is no bounty on LH now....but ok you like to work for free

b) I just experienced an FH gunboat sitting right next to a Corsair GB with Order ID without shooting.... when I asked about it I was told that.. "don't have time for it now"... yet 2mins later 2FH Gunboats had all the time in the world to hunt me all around California. During that time the Order GB flew around again (I have nice screen this time) and was ignored by you.

- crusing to catch up an enemy on thruster is not allowed ... yet every capship that I meet is doing it

----------

On the other hand... yes a lvl 70 Starflier character of yours was killed by the LH.
He was flying around in Magellan and was asked about his business...... he replied that we should "bugger off". Not a wise thing to say to pirates is it?

Well since BulldogNK did that to me yesterday, id say its allowed.

But only if a player has ran more then 2k(my guess) and shows no interest in shooting back, just running.

I was usally doing it if a player goes more then 3.5k away.

Yes, and I was also there yesterday. They brought a total of 3 BHG GBs, 2 Destroyers, and then brought along X-Killer-X's BHG BC, as well as the USS Titan in a Lib BC.. Throughout the entire day, I found 1 person in something other than a capship. That was an LSF in a Havoc bomber.. (And why the heck he tried to take on 4-5 LFs, 1 VHF, and a bomber is beyond me..)

Our teams had 4 LFs, 1 VHF, 1 bomber, and 1 cruiser that was off-and-on.

And yesterday was not an isolated incident. Everytime I've seen one of them its been a capship..

I agree that every Cap ship I see (and thats alot of Caps) uses there cruise engines to catch an enemy on thrusters, because there nothing like killing a fighter in your Osiris! :laugh:Must give pilots a real sense of achievement.

Well true that.. There are times Liberty is loaded with caps and there are also times that there is not a single lawful officer to deal with hackers but only me in my liberator:P

Well remember that, the number of caps is not mainly caused by LSF or SA but mostly the independent lawfuls those who, we cant enforce not to use these ships. You chose to fight the Liberty government, so you should live with it. Hackers could also operate in Leeds or Manchester a bit since these systems are adjoining to Magellan and they could have some interests with Bretonian government as well. And Bretonia is less defended compared to Liberty. Anyway if you are to provoke propaganda against the Liberty authority, I fear you will need to learn to live with the harsh way of life.

Staff roles:

Someone please send me the spawning location of Lane Hacker ncps in New London, Leeds, or Cambridge, and I will add those systems to our active hunting territory.
Until then, LH active hunting must begin in Manchester, Magellan, or Cortez (or other Liberty systems) and only spill over into Bretonia if necessary to bag the evil corporate villain.
Naturally, since we do business with our allies the Mollys, we may find a target of opportunity on the way to Arranmore.
Otherwise, we are sticking to the authentic ZOI as much as possible.
Besides, Bretonia is vacant of lawfuls because Bretonia is vacant of pirates.
Bretonia is vacant of pirates because it is vacant of Traders.
It is vacant of Traders because, well, beats me, but it just is. Whatever the reason, it's a discussion for the mod balance topic, I think.

Also, anyone trying to kill Ernst in any ship bigger than a VHF must have a deathwish.

We didnt use anything above gunboat, we striclty used all Rogue ships ( the one that look like rogue )
And grav I didnt see one LR fighter so far only Destroyers and Battleships...

As far as the LH goes...

> We will use ships we like...You can cry all you want, call us whores, doesnt matter to me.
> About not shooting the Order. We were not grouped with him so we didnt do anything wrong. We chose who will we attack. ( we would kill him but we tend to group up first then hunt )
> As a Bounty Hunter my enemies are all Pirats. It doesnt say "Cant shoot them unless they got a bounty on there head"

> As far as the cruise goes I am not sure how to Interpet rules here. I saw you cant use cruise engines in battleships to catch up on someone, but I saw others use there gunboats to do that. So if what I did was wrong I am sorry for it.

well I wrote about the ships and bounties in the first posts that it's your choice....

Not shooting the Order
No it's not against the rules... but it's simply a bad RP. Not attacking an Order gunboat in the heart of Liberty, but attacking a single fighter with two GBs instead. If the fighter decides not to get killed you can never kill him.. simple as that. If you stopped after some 10minutes when the Order GB flew next to you for a second time it might have been ok. This way it was not RP it was a PVP revenge.

Cruising
The rules say that once you engaged cruise engines you are out of the fight and have to leave the system.

In large battles it was explained that a capship cannot use cruise to come closer to the enemies that drifted away while in fight with others.

In small battles (caps vs others) I would say that when you are out of gun range (so 2-3K) you are out of the fight too. So you cannot engage cruise to chase a fighter unless he gets to say 3K from you. If he does he is considered fleeing and you can use your cruise to catch him. Just as Tic says.

As far as the cruise goes I still cant say whats ok and what isnt, but...after the server crashed you were in magellan and we were in california so if we take your moving on 3k away from us witch did happen. You were considered running...right? Then how come you got back into california again and when we moved to new york you followed us there again...
