Since it was me who has started this discussion, apart from the Gunboat discussion, i have seen my last statement contradicts an earlier statement of mine particulary. So i retreat from. May the OC's use all ships and equipment they can grasp from their allies. I have my Centurion and will try the Arwing, since i have noticed it has 6 guns.:D My char is a Corsair and proud to use Corsair technology only.

^^^ And it looks nothing like a Corsair ship which is why most wont fly it.

Give the Corsairs a light fighter with the same stats as that which looks like a Corsair ship and maybe people would use it.

Of course its as agile as hell when you fly Titan's for a living...

but for now I concede that point, as the Arwing is one of those ships I have never flown, except in open SP...

But I think now we have moved on to a pride thing. When the Black Dragon VHF comes for the Hogosha, TBH could easily contract the Hogosha to build some in exchange for the increased volume of artifacts from a new source, which should be in our guard system. (New source = more variety for the rich to choose from...)

We could do that, but the Corsairs are, in RP, proud to use the Titan, which is exactly why we wont, and I will block any move towards this.

Of course, why aren't Outcasts the same? I thought they were a proud race, proud of their own perceived elevated status from the rest of humanity (rumours), proud that they stood up to the Corsairs so long, proud that they have come this far, proud that they were heavily involved with the development in the Border worlds shipline, and proud that they can use the fruits of their hard work against their enemies?

@AoM: LFs aren't supposed to have 6 hardpoints, byenlarge. Of course, the slipstream has it, but that is one of a kind as far as I am aware.

@Equinox: I think we may have to make do with the thing, in all its bluey silverness...

@Duke Nuke'm - They can allow you to buy 20 of their Togo battleships, that doesn't mean it is righteous.
For instance, BSG can easily ask the TBH to use Corsair Gunboat. They are allies right.
But it doesn't fit our RP to do that.
And it sure doesn't fit the Outcasts RP to use any of their allies VHF's while they have a Sabre.

You were mostly flying Raven Talons, until it got nerfed, and Sabre got improved.
Now, that is not enough, now you are going to fly Blood Dragon HF, until it gets nerfed, and Sabre gets more upgrades.
That is what i'm talking about. That is not RP.
NovaPG cannot control the NPC RP, or story behind Blood Dragons.
NovaPG are Red Hessians accepted by Blood Dragons.
They can't really allow you or deny you to use something that is Blood Dragon's concealed technology.
No one can. Until that infocard is changed, i will have a valid argument to criticize anyone who is not a Blood Dragon, but still flies a Blood Dragon HF.

@Exile - It says it is a HF, but it is actually a VHF.
It has 6 guns, 4 class 10's, 2 class 9's and an armor of the VHF.
Armor is even better then on Viper mk1.
It is not unbeatable, and i won't speak is it the best or not, that is a very subjective opinion.
I am trying to make a point here.
It is not nice, and it is certainly not the best way to RP your faction, by flying other then your own ships.
Damn, Outcasts stood up against Unioner GB with some RP excuses. And why?
The point was, Unioners should fly a Civilian line.
Damnit now, how can you tell me that you have an excuse for flying non-border world ships?

If all faction leaders would lead their factions like you do just now, it would be a disaster.
Your point of view : "They come, pwn us, so we will get better ships".
My point of view : "They come, pwn us, we will try harder to push them off".
RoS will never earn the respect that TBH (or QCO) has unless you stop allowing such things.
You should lead to an example, to all independents, to all Outcasts.
By flying Blood Dragon HF, you are doing exactly opposite.
You are lowering Outcast RP.
And i mean it.

I remember one event, that is very connected to your points.
2 BSG fighters attacked Alpha and destroyed 3,4 RoS members.
You stated clearly that we are "Viper whores" because "Viper has the best stats in game".
Next time i encountered you, you were flying a Slipstream instead of Odin.
Instead of trying to improve your skills, you are trying to fly a better ship.
Therefore, you are a lousy example of a faction leader.
I am aware that i am flaming now, and i really apologize to everyone who has to read it.
But this was very important.
He has to realize that he is wrong, and this is maybe the worst way to convince him, but the only one i know of.
Yes, you made an improvement, RoS are not using capital ships that much anymore.
But, in my eyes, it is much better for you to go out and defend Malta with 10 OC destroyers, then with 2 Blood Dragon HF's.
It is much more in RP.
Please, reconsider your acts, i am begging you to start giving a nice example to your fellow Outcasts.
