good luck trying to kill somthing with higher hull than a figher and 4k bots

we cant just heal you ya know hehe

EDIT: and as i said, we are not going to be one sided in any battle unless payed a considerable ammount to stay on one side.

we will be rolling into battles as we see fit. someone shouts MEDIC we will resupply that person for a fee. no one sided in this world for a docter heh all of you humans we must save all life *evil grin*

we will obviously note down the callers and collect later on.

My only thought about this is, "Don't PvP fights last long enough as it is?".
I start to get crossed-eyed after an hour of flying in circles on someone's six. Add this to the mix, I think I'll just leave any fight that a repair ship shows up to and go somewhere else where I can have fun instead of getting endlessly dizzy.
Personally, if there weren't hordes of NPCs to deal with sometimes, I would be in favor of eliminating nanos and bats altogether.
Repair ships turn a contest of skill (in other words : FUN) into an endless mire of frustrating dullness that is hopeless for whatever side doesn't have one (in other words : why bother fighting when the other side uses one).
BUT, I agree that since they are in the mod, this is an ingenious idea for using the ship. Have fun with it, I'll rob all the traders in the next system over while you are helping the PvP fight last for hours on end and tying up all the lawfuls.

Yes they can, but most factions also don't want to put a member in a non-combat ship that cannot fight. Since the people flying these repair ships would not be in your faction, you hire them like mercs, and it effectively gives you a new member for a small time that helps you heal your ship.
Think of a real mercenary. You hire them to bolster the amount of ships you have in a fight. It adds more damage you can do to your enemy and more people your enemy must fight. This concept also increases your numbers, but can potentially be more helpful than a single fight or bomber, as it can give multiple full bot recoveries to cruisers, gunboats, and battleships. Almost 4 full recharges of your bot capacity for a BS.
Imagine two Osirises fighting. One has Stock bots. 700/700. Then the other has a mining ship helping him.. Effectively he has 4700/4700. Now do you think the first BS has any chance? Now if it were an Osiris vs an Osiris and bomber, that first Osiris has a small chance. The first scenario gives him absolutely no chance.
Also, your probably thinking he could get back to even by killing the Repair ship. There are two things wrong with this. One; if he does kill it, the repair ship will have used all its bots/batts staying alive, and that Osiris would still have nothing to pick up. Two; The time it takes to make the repair ship use all 4,000 bots and batts to stay alive, and then finally kill it (remember that it is more agile than you), the other BS would have done so much damage to you, you would not be capable of fighting back.

okay i got another little addition so things don't get to unfair.

i will be capping the limit of each ship.

there will usually be more than one of us so we cant let them just pay like crazy to win a big important fight.

-Fighter-3 replenish (if 1v1 1-2 replenish)

-Bomber- 3 replenish (if 1v1 1-2 replenish)

-Gunboats-3 (dependent on size of fight we will stop helping, we will not be the result of a massacre)

-Cruiser-4 (Dependent on the size of fight we will stop helping we will not be the result of a massacre)

-Battleship - Full cargo (Dependent on size of fight we will stop helping we will not be the result of a massacre)

really all in all we will have our limits, i personally think some fighter fights are very long specially if both of you are pretty good. one such one comes to mind that happened recently and was foiled, when dab makes me move my mic and he shoots me with a super. <.<

we will also not help in a massacre. if i feel or we feel this fight is to unfair we will not help the larger side at all. if it is unfair odds we will not help people die.

This would actually not increase the amount of time pvp lasts. The side that gets all those bots is going to kill the enemy just as quickly. The only thing that is prolonged is the BS's life that gets the heal. I guess it is true, if you were healing a BS fighting a bunch of fighters/bombers, but those fights really aren't that long. And yes, it would seem like healing VHFs in a VHF fight would prolong it as well, but it wouldn't, unless the repair ships were offering bots to both sides. If they were only supplying one side, that side could fight more risky, and disregard the need to avoid damage and instead inflict more on his opponent, downing him much faster.

Interesting, but if a fleet hires you, and then you refuse to repair them, simply because the enemy brought less ships... you won't have much business for long...

If anything you should hope that the side you are on wins. That way the enemy is completely wiped out, and you don't have to worry about them taking revenge. (No survivors, noone to tell their friends, who you are...)

Here's my thought:
A repair ship, working for the enemy, is a disaster.
So, if I cannot get a guarantee that they are not working for my enemy, I want them wiped out.
I'll probably need to figure out ways to kill them nearly instantly....
How much hull do these things have?
