I found that the Marauder had 1.2 something agility in 4.83 and now it has 1.31. So don't think it got nerfed there.
About firepower.... it has the Sabre powerplant!!!! That's quite enough to fire 6 Guns isn't it?
Sabre powerplant really isn't that good.. Trust me, I fly it with my Wraith all the time. And as I stated earlier this thread, the numbers are not representative. We've proven in the past that numbers do not always match in-game agility. It usually is pretty accurate, and other times it gives us a range, but a ship with 1.3 agility may be better than a ship with 1.25 agility. There are many factors and just game mechanics that get in the way. Also, the fact that it has 7,400 armor and less agility than the Vipers that have 8,800 and 10,000 with 2 class 9 guns, and 4 class 10 guns, when it has 2 class 8s and 4 class 9s.

Marauder: 2 Class 8s, 4 Class 9s
Viper MkI/MkII: 2 Class 9s, 4 Class 10s
Oh, and the hitbox is also bigger than the Viper's now.
So is there anything the Marauder beats it in now? No.
And maybe I'm feeling hostile because your always, ALWAYS, trying to get ships nerfed. Oh, and your accusation that I'm hostile because I couldn't win? I've had 2 fights with you. One; 2 of us beat 3 of you and a TBH, and Two; I was fighting TBH, they brought in a BATTLESHIP, I ran, you came in and tried to stop me from running. Me and my 59 out of 62 bots remaining. Yeah, really lost there.

This I find very interesting after reflection. How can you go through my last half if your on my six? In addition, from the rear, as per my screenies, their is a very minor cross section, like a plus sign +, so extremely hard to hit. This calls into question your whole proposition.
Well the hits never come from exactly behind the ship as you and me are always dodging/moving around. So they do come at an angle, but from behind. Maybe wrong wording.
I still don't get how is it possible to say - when looking on the screens and the hitbox picture from AoM - that it's a good hitbox for the ship and that there is nothing wrong with it. :shok:

I putforth it is your aim that is faulty versus Kushan. Our engagement was the 1st you had with Kushan, but yet you are basing this whole crusade on one encounter. BSG is most affected by this bug...CR not that much so we didn't complain...so i would say they have a right to say what they want...
also...CR/BSG are two of the few factions here who fly and fight custom models so bugs and issues will most likely be shown there.
All new custom ships have very good hitboxes cause we have better tools then makers of the first custom ships that were imported into the mod. It will take time to balance and fix them al,l but that sentence of your about people (CR/BSG in this case) not having right to say anything is dead wrong and little pompous IMO.

Marauder is very bad balanced ship, and i mean agility wise....weapons, hull and botts are OK for HF and that ship was always classified as HF...too bad it agility never showed that....
But, just cause Marauder is crap...and badly balanced..should we make brick our of Viper like in beta for 4.83...?...even bloody spatial could out turn Viper then...
after new hit box Viper will be perfectly made custom VHF....and Marauder should maintain its role of HF but with agility that comes with it

That is true.. I was aiming on the ship.. not on the Dragon picture that I now have painted and placed next to my screen to move it around next time I see you, so that I know where to aim.
It is possible to counter and kill the ship... yes... and it's not really uber.. yes... but it has a broken hitbox.. that doesn't cover a lot (40-50% of the ship). And I don't think it's right... do you?

Actually, marauder has:
2xclass7, 2xclass8, 2xclass9
rest is pretty accurate, but:
Agility
Marauder: 1.31
Viper: 1.1556
Is enough to make ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Paired with 700m/s OC weaponry, Marauder can out turn Viper, and hit it much more often, than viper can return fire, effectively negating 1200more armor and 12-18 more bots. And Sabers/marauders powerplant is more than enough, since just TWO marauders, armed only with guns, can keep the shield down of the freakin BATTLECRUISER? Wouldn't you say?!
So can Marauder beat viper if flown properly:

BTW, I hope you guys realise, there are actually two factors to ships flight performance:
1) Would be maximum angle speed at which the ship turns (called maneuverability)
2) Would be the acceleration at which the ship gets from str8 flight to the maximum angle speed (called agility)
