Being allied with Rogues doesn't give them the right to operate in Liberty. They already have a limited zone which is in Bretonia. They simply belong to Bretonia not Liberty.
my favorite run goes through Bertonia. I have been successfully pirated 1 time. i can count the number of times people have tried and failed to pirate me on one hand. if im sleepy and just need to make some cash without any threat to my profit, i do this run. i don't even see very many other traders, and the profit is maybe 10k less then the diamond run, comon people, 10k isn't that much. if i want some excitment i do the diamond run.
i love the idea of a clockwise and counter clockwise loop through sirius, and i even know of a few but they are not very balanced right now. the other problem with this is it leaves out the OCs and Corsairs. I am not smart enough to figure that problem out, sorry.
back on the origional topic:
my issue is that the UoG shouldn't be in the Libery Resistance anyway, maybe a "Corsir Killing" one but they shouldn't be in a meta-clan dedicated to killing LSF/SA. I can see them being allied to the LR, sharing info and technology and such, and the OCCASIONAL military aid, but very limited aid. should trips out of ZoI be limited to GB or lower?
and technically my ZoI as a RoS member doesn't belong in Gamma or wherever crete is (430am, sorry) because there are no NPCs there that I have seen, but still, it would be REALLY boring for me otherwise.
I avoid NY like its the plague, in all my characters, except maybe my RoS one, but still, i don't go there on a whim (even though there are OC NPCs there) because its riddiculas the amount of harrasment i get, and its just a crazy place to be. it seriously annoys me. when i first joined RoS there was a huge RoS/Corsair battle above Crete and it was a LOT of fun, but because before that i had stuck to the house systems I didn't know such things happened. Now that im out of NY this game has improved 10x over what it was before (which was really good). People, there is a whole wonderful galaxy custom built for you curtisy of Igiss. go discover it.

If there is going to be any roleplay involving out of your areas of influence, make sure you are very squeaky clean in your behaviour, reasons, and your reputations ...

Just to Back up what Hoodlum said. If i see players who should be being shot at not being fired upon, i will be doing in-game setreps, with a little setcash zero command.
Keep it in role play and remember its a game server not a chatroom.
I was there yesterday when massive UOG attack began, repeating: UOG attack because there was 1 maybe 2 LR fighter/gunboat... not sure..
EVEN if there is reasonable RP explanation (alliance with LR... honoring it..etc.)... why you are in NY, I can't see reason why after you destroyed our small defending force,
on West Point, at cost of your bs, you started raging throughout NY by killing several seriously under level players... (one of them is Denmark (something) guy..)
What was the point of that... (Maybe that couple caps can destroy few starfliers ?)... we all already know that..
I agree with Hoodlum that maybe if NY PvP is somehow regulated... eg. only LSF & LR have rights on PvP.. or something similar...
Btw, if 1/2 UOGs smuggle something through or to NY, in my opinion that is ok, but full scale attack...
why not?... terrorists, drug cartels, mafia.... they all fight in open fights with goverment arround whole world (mostly in asia, north afrika and arabian countries and south amerika... but sometimes in europe and north america too).
This is absolutly clear RP... it is problem of LSF and other lawfull Liberty military and police "guilds" if they patroll mostly only in NY and other Liberty systems are unprotected.... pirates have source of money in this systems and than thay can buy better ships usable in open war... it is same like when columbian cartel use light tank;)

Outcasts and Corsairs are global pirates (mostly), others are not.
