Everything used to fine before. Right now Milkshape crashes, giving me Microsoft C++ Runtime Library error, when I try to import models from Freelancer. I tried importing a model without textures, it didn't crash. The program crashes only when i want the models to be textured.

I have already updated the c++ runtime library and it didn't help.

I am using win xp sp3. Well, the same config as before, when I was making sigs here.

please advise,

thanks.

Problem has been solved. The path to the folder for extracted textures was not set. But for some reason I can only extract to Program Files\...

Is there a way to set my path to another place?

Tends to happen with that import plugin. Workaround: Do not search automatically for the textures, but select the texture file or files after you have selected the model. It's that search that somehow tends to fail.

Thanks for the input, the milk doesn't crash. Do you know how if it is possible to set the folder for extracted textures to any other path other that ...program files/... ?

No idea. I think it just bases it off of the FL folder.
