Character teleported

Okay, so, I wasn't playing for the last two months, aside from resetting my characters, and today I've found out that my character Charles.Gaulle(flying a Cougar, one l is a upper case i) is at Freeport 2 in Bering, while he was in Gallia previously. No one was playing him and nothing is wrong, aside from the location. Could I get some help with this, or at least some info on what happened?

I'm guessing you left your character in space for the last 2 months.
The exact same thing happened to a couple of my chars after a lengthy absence. Apparently if an F1'd char drifts to far away from its original location it gets teleported to Bering.

When 4.86 was released, all ships that were parked in conn were moved to FP2 in bering.

I don't think it's that, because the char was parked on a base and another one of my chars stayed in Conn. Also, I had 2 adrift in space and they drifted only 30k in the last 2 months.
