Bonjour people of Gallia,
as we continue to make great strides into new territories our glorious King Charles is anxious to maintain the purity and probity of our noble lines and ensure new territories are appropriately managed.
In order to facilitate this aim he has commissioned Le Bureau Généalogie Gauloise to trace and ratify all incumbents and potential claimants to Gallic nobility.
To that end could all present nobility please present their “seal” and official residence to this office as soon as possible to ensure the accuracy of our archives.
Likewise any claims to nobility should in the first instance should also be lodged below.
The King would like to thank you for your recent contact. However, on the evidence presented to date he is not sure you are displaying enough intelligence to be a Gallic noble either by birth or achievement.
It could be some simple misunderstnading and the fact you did not attach an image of an aquatic mammal means all may not be lost.
If you feel the need please try again with a more assiduous claim and I am sure the genealogy department can investigate further.
*the man put his right hand on the chest and bowed*
My name is Marcell Chevalier. I am nephew of deceased comte de Lyon, Allen Chevalier. Since he did not had any children the honor to take his place is mine. Since I've been in Royal Navy and wasn't yet ready to take this responsibility, my parents replaced me. However their life have been cut suddenly as well. This message was sudden for me, however it is my duty to keep everything my ancestry achieved.
The ring my parents passed to me as prof of my heir rights. Place where my family lived for generations is Mont Saint-Michel, castle on the planet Lyon.
*after short pause he put the hand down and continued*
I am currently serving in the Royal Navy. I guess my low rank will make many questions and unnecessary noise. Before I take the title I wanted to reach the Colonel rank. Regent Francois de Bijou, an old friend and counselor of my uncle, currently acting from our name. He agreed with my position, and I hope you will agree too. Once I reach Colonel rank I shall take the title and responsibility.
Comm ID: retired Marechal Pauline Valence;
Location: Nevers; Burgundy
Bonjour,
I am Pauline Valence, Marechal of the Gallic Royal forces, who had been forced to retire from active service after an accident onboard of my Cruiser, the Panthere in hostile territory, which I and fortunately most of the crew survived.
I have served the crown for a long time, I have always been a loyal servant of the King, his family and Gallia as a whole, I have always done what had been ordered even if it meant risking my life.
Now after my injury I am unable to serve the King and Gallia in active service, this is why I, after all I have done and given for Gallia, request to be raised into the Gallic nobility.
I do not request this out of selfish needs, but due to the fact that I believe that my actions have earned this position for me and my successors.
I will gladly accept any decision his majesty makes regarding this matter.
thank you for the communique and the King is well aware of your sterling service with GRN.
It takes a period of intense research and thus consequently a period of time for this sort of work. However, with the information supplied we are pleased to provisionally confirm, on the Kings behalf, your legitamate claim to the position of Comte de Lyon.
A full documentation of the position will be forthcoming soon.
Communications ID: Comte Anthony Lachance, Eldest of the Lachance Family of Languedoc, Planet Quillan
"Good evening, I hope that this message finds you in good health and enjoying the holiday spirit as permitted by His Majesty King Charles XI during your hard and tedious work of establishing a firm structure of our great Kingdom's bloodlines.
The Lachance family has served before and unfortunately lost it's own in the name of the King, shedding it's blood so that those living in the Core Worlds may live to see the final victory, my younger Brother, Pierre Lachance, a young man full of spirit was part of the Primary Fleet, joining at the bottom ranks to prove himself to his peers that despite his heritage he was not afraid to dirty his hands in the name of Gallia and it's King.
However after the Royal Navy pushed the treasonous Council and it's allies out of our home and restored order we received word that he went Missing in Action, likely dead.
But the Lachance family will not forget it's duties to report it's bloodline to His Majesty King Charles XI, therefore I am submitting our Crest which also serves as our seal, our original family ring was destroyed long ago during our Grandfather's trip to Lorraine many years ago and we had to create a new ring, however this ring uses specialized technology that submits an Electronic Image when sealing 'Documents' and burns the image onto the surface it is pressed in colour. A far cry from the original family Ring but we hope it will suit your needs for this duty."
Bonjour Pauline Valence,
as mentioned previously geneological research is time consuming especially when the first trawl of the database shows a Maquis pilot by that name. Further investigation however returned this pilot as presumed dead and we traced your GRN records.
We can confirm that your family has no ancestral rights to a title but the King is keen to recognise exemplary service as the Kingdom moves forward.
As you are unable to serve the King in active military service it is suggested that you can still serve in an active administrative capacity. The King thus suggest elevating you to Vicomte of Nevers. It is vital that this staging point from the core worlds works efficiently an in particular the resort facilities are maintained to enhance rest and recouperation for our estemeed military.
Bonjour Anthony,
thank you for the kind wishes and although we have participated in the festivities granted by the King we have still been busy.
This business is however the reason for the time elapsed, we were just about to contact you and hope for your help in unravelling some of the fof that has been uncovered. We have recovered a number of instances of your family and was hoping you could help.
Starting with that mentioned in your submission we have indeed uncovered the records of Pierre Lachance a Lynx pilot with GRN who sadly still remains MIA. We can also confirm the family crest matches historical documents.
So far so good, however a number of other instances of LaChance appear, are they all your family?
Captain Silvestre LaChance of the RNS-Dunkerque Veronique LaChance, esteemed Commandeur of the Marchande Rouge one of IDF's principal ships and also a willing volunteer in previous GRN MedEvac operations.
We also have records of a Benoit LaChance helmsman in the RPC Vatan. However, this ship was "lost" in strange circumstances and thus we have no further records. Although there were rumours of alien intervention.
Then we have two final characters, one linked to the Ontario Liberation Front and a supposed outcast, Lucien LaChance, follower of the Will of Sithis.
