Anyone else syked for this game? Finally an MMO I might be able to get behind, they havent been the same since SWG's CU =/

None of this turn based combat crap, no more being locked into one class, and finally some compatibility for large scale pvp again.

Looking forward to the game, but not so much the losers that you know will be in it just to screw with hard core players. All MMOs now have trolls whether fantasy, or space based.

I'm not going to hold my breath for this game, after the collapse of Fallout Online. Though I will no doubt play it if it is eventually released. I have played all the Elder Scrolls games and consider myself a fan I suppose

This really isn't something that needs to be taken super seriously because it's a game and most of us are just here to have fun. You should try smiling, you'll feel better about things (honest).

I've never been able to play an MMO and say "This is really cool!" Hopefully TES will change that, but I'm not counting on it.

Yeah, I love elder scrolls titles. However, looking at this game it doesn't seen to have the same feel. the big selling point of these titles for me was the first person player emerson. It made you feel like you were there. This online attempt with it's fixed third person view and reduced graphics just doesn't interest me as much. Though, I think there is a german mmo mod of oblivion out there.

The game is being published by Bethesda Softworks, and being developed by ZeniMax Online Studios. ZeniMax Online Studios is a division in ZeniMax Media, with Bethesda Game Studios being another division. I've read that ZeniMax and Bethesda share an office together. I'd imagine Bethesda Game Studios would have at least some part of the development of the game.

OP: Having played many MMOs of the years, and having taken part in TES series since Morrowind, I can't wait for the game. As always, I'll be playing one of the Dunmer (the best race ever, I might add). Will be weird working with Nords and Argonians as Dunmer, I might admit.
