I can see Bretonia in defensive for some time. Then, Liberty comes into the war and brakes the Gallic nose, letting Bretonia get the upper hand. The Brets conquer a fair part of Gallia, but the Gauls manage to kick them out. Then, the Brets enter a crisis again. However, the Sairs discover and colonize some far away systems, for what is heard in the Houses. Because all of them are in crisis, Liberty after beating Gallia, Bretonia after being kicked out of Gallia, Gallia after kicking out Bretonia, Kusari because of being a Gallic puppet, and Rheinland as always, more colonies with more resources can solve that. The Houses rush into the Omicrons/Omegas, some are allied, while others are not, total war everywhere, until a House gets the upper hand. Then, all the Houses are at war with it and we have Gallia Mk II. Oh, and the Nomads should also do something. Something.

I don't think Bretonia, even with Liberty's support, is in any position to actually conquer any of Gallia's territory. But I do like the idea of the Houses trying to colonize some of the O-systems. That would make for lots of good RP.
I would just really like to see some major conflict between Kusari and Liberty happening. Some nice battles going on in the north-Libertonian and south-Kusari systems would be a sight to behold. I've never seen a fleet of KuBS fighting Liberty Dreads and Carriers.
It's interesting to read this things in here, but from my point of view (as a new player in this mod) it makes my heart bleed. Why? The NPC are just OP in gallic (tau 31), a player told me that we are not allowed to enter with capital ships there so traders are very vulnerable there. Now most of high level players forgot that they where once newbie and they worked their but out for that 100mill or for that 300mill. Now it's impossible to do a good trade cos of this or cos of that... mining it sux, pirate players come and demand, now they don't want money, they want 5k loot of us in Leeds. They don't want to talk with you, they just "drop your cargo"... com on!
Another player ask like 10-15m, he leave then his buddy come and he ask the same ammount... now if another 10 buddy's of their come ... ok... do I work to grow my char and make something in this game or pay pirates? Ok.. wait.. there are many navy players... interesting is when is war they all jump in, when is not war they don't patrol they just jump in their alts and who knows... pirates? traders?
Ok I understand this Role Play of this mod, I agree that pirates should do their job, but more and more pirates, less end less players in New London side who could come to aid you.
I don't know what and how, but this is really make my heart bleed. So indeed, something need to be done with this mode. More and worst is when a navy player is hand in hand with pirates and there is nothing to do with this. I must always keep Y open to see how many players are in X system and guess if they are pirates, traders or navy/police.
I just don't know what to do so that I can fit in this game and make something.... to many rules made, and very few players are playing after rules. How about this? How about giving more NPC police/navy who patrol the system with cruiser/battleship/gunboat cos I usually see 1-2 navy/police player in new London and even those are not answering.
Give us a "safe" way to make our money (not 100m from once, or 50mill, but at least 10-20m via a safe route). Or implement something like "bomb" in large trains, if pirates come we can blow up X amount of cargo. They become more and more greedy, and demand more and more. If 2-3 traders pass them, each of them must drop their cargo or pay him 10-20m ?! Not nice and not encouraging for a new player.
At this stage I'm very disappointed!

Bretonia have nothing against Gallia armada,and Gallia can be defeated only by time....they has too big fleet and so looooong ways to supply them.
Try to read about WW1 and what was situation with Germans in the end of war...no water\food\munitions and etc.

How much bigger do you want to get than a whole planet? That's also not counting the trickle of Bretonian refugees, which will probably turn into a flood, heading towards Gran Canaria. Other than 3 and 49, heading any further into the Omegas will meet heavy resistance. Rheinland isn't in a position to even try - given that they're losing Dresden to the Hessians... that should speak for itself.
Here's an idea: A cosmic storm unforeseen by scientists of Gallia and Sirius wipes away a bunch of jumpholes all across the map. Half of Gallia and Sirius is now cut off from the rest of the systems and may be forever lost (you can pick up that story line / copypasta the genesis story line from Eve in future installments if you want to reunite the systems but for now I think it would be awesome if the game world was 2/3 or half the size it is now).
The storm nukes a whole bunch of stations as well, leaving some systems half empty and adding new anomalies / mining areas / wrecks (in short stuff to explore) to those same systems. It's now up to the remainder of humanity to pick up the pieces and re-populate and prosper. Direct wars between the houses are toned down as all are focused on re-building, but humans will be humans and instead the houses now battle over resources in the edge worlds / independent worlds / nomad worlds as well as in those systems that have been partially destroyed by the solar storm.
However this blow to humanity hasn't gone by unnoticed - the non-touchy/feely nomads (having their own system of jumpgates and not relying on bases and planets like humanity does) didn't get hit as hard by the cosmic storm of doom and now seize this moment to unleash the final blow...!!!!!
In other words create more of a sandbox with new things to explore, and player-driven system development (by using player-built stations) and a heavy focus on ore/minerals in the outer worlds and in those worlds that got wiped. Sort of a wild west / goldrush scenario with the underlying premise that it is all about saving humanity. And nommies would be reinstated as chief bad guys.
