I just rechecked, and seems the rephacks on IMG ID have been altered on GC sometime during or after the last update, cause that method used to work just fine before that.

IMG ID used to leave Hacker rep untouched, while moving Outcast rep to -0.7 hostile. Now, however, it moves Outcast rep to -0.9 (Which is good, means the Hunter double bribe wont be needed) but also moves the Hacker rep to -0.3 (Which is bad, meaning you'd have to go for a blindshot on Barrier cause the Hacker NPC there won't talk to you, while offering both Outcast & Hacker bribes randomly, and if you're not lucky enough it might result in wasting a million or two.) Long story short - Check the method for Cast Guard again, I altered it a bit to work with the current rephacks on IMG ID.

On another note: Updated BHG Core method, thanks to Stoat.

For IMG bribe, Its much better to do this:

- /restart freelancer
- Fly to Jakarta in Tau 39.
- Take double bribe.
- Buy ID
- Take CR bribe
- Fly to Orkney, north of JH should be Dounby station
- Take CM bribe.

These should get you green/neutral/red with the correct factions.

Keep in mind that literally none of the methods mentioned in this guide (Except for those strictly listed as the rep for specific purposes, like the Sair-friendly Samura rep or Gallia-friendly Daumann rep) give you a 'perfect' rep sheet. All the methods simply let you have the wanted IFF along with a more or less standard rep sheet for that faction in a short time.

So yea, even though the method you're suggesting does seem to give you a clean IMG repsheet, but I don't really find the need to include it in the guide cause then either people would complain about it taking too long for a simple IMG rep, or they'd make a small mistake somewhere along the line and then complain about the method not working even though it does.

That said, thank you for your suggestion but I'd rather keep this guide to more basic/standard methods, unless really necessary.

For the RM Guard, does it matter which missions you pick or is it preferable to do base destroying ones?

Base destroy ones are easier to do because all you have to do is kill the base, not masses of fighters
