As I've learned, It's next to impossible to have a descent ship at lvl 30 and it doesn't get much better futher on. The gaps between weapons classes are huge and newbies like me are constantly exposed to being harrased in a completely unbalanced way.
I am not against fighting on uneven odds and losing, but any fight is out of the question when other player can take my lvl 8 shield in two shots with his overpowered weapons. This just takes out any fun I may have.
I therefore propose to extend "no pvp" rule to cover levels beyond 30. At least to lvl 40, and maybe futher. As much as it is necessary to get newbies on a bit more equal footing.
Well....there is a Ship...named Hayabusa And another one named Starblazer i guess....They are pretty good for your taste i mean....not much money and something like a jet!
Chances are, if you're outmatched, you're not going to attempt to gun your opponent down. Just run.
If you're a level 30, chances are, you're in a freighter wanting to make cash anyway. Just run away.
If you're level 30 and you're in a fighter wanting to shoot people. You're doing it wrong.

Pretty much that, started a new character with a friend and got onto a fighter lvl 55 in no time.

Well you fail to understand some new players will want to play a fighter, and not trade. So they do missions getting used to our mod.
Now i would love the level 30 raised to say 40? But there is to many asshats on this server that would fly level 39 Light fighters and use the cap as a "you can't shoot me" clause until they decide to shoot you in arse when you turn around. Also hitting transport/freighters, and claiming later the lawfuls cannot shoot them as they are under level.

Highly unfortunate. Our system dictates that anybody who wants to be a fighter, must have an AU8 on a Mk II fighter or be mowed down by class 9 weaponry.
Often, trade has to come first.
If you're in a fighter and you're shooting NPCs, fine. But if you're picking a fight with a player, yeah....you won't survive. Therefore, best option is to run. You do that.
I agree, 30 is too low. It just doesn't allow good enough equipment to survive on this server. Note that the underlevel rule can be nixed by the individual player if they wish to RP with the big kids.
But 40 is too high, coz it allows a fully loaded LF to use "underlevel" as a get out of jail free card.
