Even with the rich RP in freelancer, we get a lot of poor RP or none at all, here's a list of things to say if you're stuck:

The classic problem, Lag, [or server restarts]:
"Ion storm detected."
"Incoming dark matter wave!"
"We're experiencing some solar flare interference." [Doesn't work in Magellan, Kepler, or Galileo.]

The RP-ruiner, //GF:
"You're quite a worthy opponent."
"*static* Goin' down!"
"You are an ace pilot sir/madam."
"This is going to cause a lot of paperwork..." [Situations involving Cruiser-class or larger, freighters, or transports]
"There, that's lulled them into a false sense of security." [When speaking in a group, to other group members on the fight... ugh, so complicated]
"Yes! I can eat tonight!" [Mercs, BH, and Freelancers]
"KA-CHING!" [Mercs, BH, and Freelancers]
"Curacao or the Hawaii... tough choice. Hey, <target>, which is nicer?" [Mercs, BH, and Freelancers]

Pirating, the '2milrdai' problem:
"Alright, trader. Cut your engines and prepare to be boarded!"
"Care to donate to X organization?"
"This trade lane has a toll, and I'm going to have to ask X credits of you."
"I'm Mike D. and I get respect, yo cash and yo money is what I expect!"
"This is a robbery, As such I'd like the contents of your hold."
"No it's not a mugging, it's armed robbery. Empty the hold or we'll do it for you"
"Alright this is a robbery, nobody moves and nobody gets hurt. Hand over the valuables"
"Trader I suggest you listen...as it is not a good idea to retaliate."
"Hold it, I have orders to scan your hold... Look what we have here. I will have to ask you to drop it."
"We can work out some alternative if you like; I am always open for suggestions."
"Cut your engines, worthless trader, you know your life don't mean much to me."
"If you like to save it pay [Amount], and you will leave with just a damaged ship" (shooting shields meanwhile).
"Please sir hold for scans. Would you like to help out [faction]? We ask for a small donation of [amount]."

Re-engagement, the PvP killer:
"Wait, weren't you just shot down?"
"The mechanics here must be really fast."

"//", how to get others to stop:
"Quite a strange language over the comms today."
"Is anyone else getting as much static as I am?"
"You may wish to lay off the weed, Cardamine, or rum you might be using. Quit your slurring and sober up."
"Are anyone else's comms getting as much static as me?"
"I'm assuming by your accent you're from Liberty."
"'The hell/heck are you on?"

Unresponsive trader:
"Hey get outta the head and answer your comms before I separate you into your component atoms."

LOL, Lawl disease:

IFF Glitch:
"Phew! You scared me. I thought you were trouble. There something wrong with you IFF..."

"Looks like someone just encountered a cloud of antimatter. Everyone steer clear."

Suicide:
"Coming in hot, prepare the emergency landing pads!!!"
"Mayday! Life support offline! Damage irreparable! Ejecting!"

"Hey guys, lookit what I can do! OH CRA-"

"WTF?" Moments:
"What the frak?"
"Did I just get Nomad Mind-Raped or is that messed up."

"What apples are these?" {Starts a WTF moment]

Bomberwhores:
"Mighty Small ship you got, shouldn't you be over at the soup kitchen about now?"

Capwhores:
"Mighty big ship you got there. Compensating the downstairs area?"
"Wow, I must be pretty important, they sent a fleet out after me"
"What, [faction] has nothing better to do with it's resources than deploy a [ship class] here?"
"I'm Impressed, Captain. Most people take years to get to the position you hold. Who'd you sleep with and can you give me their number?"
"So they let anyone off the street command a [ship class] in [faction] now huh?"

Group Invites:
"Requesting Secure Comm."
"I have an urgent message. Send me the comm codes!"

Smiley replacements:
*smiles*

*shoots slave* "This will be a lesson for the next one. When i say coffee i mean Cardamine." [Slavers and Outcasts only]

Ramming:
"My god, your insurance rates must be skyrocketing right now!"

Transfers:
"Just tell X this is from me. He/She will know what it's about."
"X asked for a loan. Give this to him/her, and remind him/her what will happen if I do not get it back."

Rep-fixing:
"Just trying to get these blasted mechanics to fix my transponder."
"These stupid GMG technicians screwed with my transponder. I'm teaching them a lesson!" [Zoner Guard repfixing.]

Referring to NPCs:
"Drones"
"Patrols"
"Failure pilots"
"Recruits"
"Redcoats"

In reference to Admins:
"Autonomous Department of Management and Interstellar Navigation"
"The Gods"
*Ignore them*

Character Swap:
"I know this guy named X, let me try and get a hold of him."
"I have to go but my third cousin twice removed is in the X system, let me see if he will help."
"I share a psychic connection with X. He will be here shortly, goodbye."
{Harvesters} "Downloading consciousness into new host."

Engagement RP:
"For the Cardi you witless (faction, perhaps Navy) Scum!" [Outcast only]
"Weapons hot, attacking hostile target!"
"I'll see you in hell, worthless scum!" [That one may be a bit strong for New York]

"Solar flares" have been another proposed explanation. This, of course, doesn't work out in places like Magellan, but...

"I'm taking donations for the anti-mugging-you fund." (obviously not for a more serious pirate...)
