Operation: Schattenschlag

Event Route: Frankfurt -> Hamburg -> Bremen

1. Primary Objective

BDM will be supplied with "Military Arms Data" (Mission cargo) and two sets of Nomad prototype weapons. Each side would have to do their best in securing the cargo and gears, and returning it to their home base safely.

2. Details

Read the operation thread linked at the top of this post for more details.

In short: The BDM have been planing to move blueprints and prototypes of a newly developed hybrid blaster from Schatten (Frankfurt) to Munster (Bremen) for further developments. With the word leaked to the Bundschuh and through them the RHA, the revolutionary forces plot an ambush in hopes of retrieving the prototype and its blueprints. This ambush can happen anywhere along the route, and can be repeated before the convoy reaches Munster, if the attack force fail to retrieve the prints but manages to get out of the fight alive.

The Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee will also be taking part in this event, as escort team for the RHA ships if they manage to get the prints after their first attempt, or support firepower if they fail to do so and have to hit the convoy again further along the route.

3. Outcome

No predefined outcome for the event. How it plays out would completely depend on what happens ingame during the event. If the RHA successfully retrieve the blueprints and the gear, they will begin developing their own modification of hybrid weaponry, which may or may not be successful, and If the BDM manage to guard the prints until it reaches Munster, they can further the RP behind it and use it in any manner they see fit.

5. Time and Date

The proposed time and date so far is Sunday, 3 Feb 2013, 20:00 SMT, which is subject to change if the majority feel more comfortable with another time and date or if either side votes for a change of date. So, in case you want to join the event but feel another time would suit you better, include it in your post.
