HI all, so I got my friend a docking module on her AI cruiser.

ALl working fine and such, however, when she typed /jettisonship TGA-rover(My char when both online) I get 100k below/above level (unsure).

The result aughta be that I get forced to undock right next to it.

Just make the player undock and it will be no problem... If he is refusing to do so, see it as some kind of punishment Smile

Well Its not a bug. If you Dock On a ship you are for the server docked in That system 100k above or Below the plain. Its how the docking modules work.

I know, but that is not what it ment to be resulting as far as I know.

An example : RM and Navy ary in battle.

A Carrior with a whole fighter wing, one fighter may be refusing to launch - Commander forces launch, should appear right in battle or so and not 100k away from level.

If its not fixable, then shame on that. I wouldnt mind if its not fixable thou.

If he's refusing to so he's probably afk. If you make him undock at the battlefield while being afk is kinda stupid...

Maybe the playership you docked has been killed, or simply he docked, so i think admins should let the docked ship near the base, or let him undock. It would be serious if one docks on a carrier to replenish during a raid between two factions, and one is AFK while on the carrier (he maybe taking a rl activity) he may force undocked, and then get killed by the enemy. So if the dead player AFK goes to play it again, he may find being dead, in worst cases hes docked far from the NPC/Player base he was before, like Planet New Tokyo, player died in Tau-23, he may find himself back in Planet New Tokyo, not knowing he was killed by enemy. So the fix is to have a request for the docked player to simply say /accept so the ship can undock, and remove the AFK limit on a player ship (not player/NPC bases).

I see where your going, but I do prefer getting forced to un dock at the ship itself. If its not killed, I dont see a reason to spawn at some base.

Ship with docking bay can use /jettisonship [Shipname] to eject ships. However, the bug is that when ejected, you are 100kabove/below level, and no where near your ship that ejected you.

The devs should fix this, the reason being if the ship gets destroyed where you are in, it counts to me as a pvp death. If you just got jettison, and your 100k below, that could setup confussion.
Thou I do love anti afk turned off on player docked ships.

not a bug, if you jettison the guy and he died earlier, he will spawn 100k below.

Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

Your getting it wrong and it is a bug.

Both alive midbattle - Jettisonship cmd used - 100k away from battle.
