this happens quite a bit, if im just about to quick dock at a jump gate and someone is behind me say about 500m-1500m, how when im on the other side hes already there?!

Either that or you don't fastdock and whoever is behind you does and therefore reach top tradelane speed faster and passes you. But then you'd actually see them passing.

ive heard of that how does that work, ive tried selecting cruise and then f4 on npc other side not cruiseing, or do i need to start cruising watch the charging engines and then f4?
