I left freelancer about a 2-3 months ago and I dont feel the need of playing it again.
Sorry that I put it on now was just not sure if I will play freelancer again. All I can say is that the game is too easy to get the best ship Found other space game wont say its name dont wont discover to lose their players, Freelancer was a good game
There is no best ship in a RP server. You fly what you want to fly. If you are seeking the ''best'' ship for PVP, then you were doing it wrong, sort of.

What I mean is that It is way too easy to get a ship that you want like the carrier of liberty It took me a week of trading to get the ship and another week to build it. That is just too easy
That is sort of the point. There is a ship you like to fly and use for RP. Setting up the ship is an out of roleplay experience, so it is easy to get a ship you want to fly.
If you wanted to put more effort into it, you could have contracted groups to bring you alloys for the ship building and roleplay it out. Would have taken much longer, would have more solid RP behind it and would have involved a lot of people and made it fun.
You write your own book.

I was a zoner for 6 months before I was given command of a aqulion in my faction. it was fun to gain the respect of my faction and an honor to receive it.
You learn the game, the rules, the mechanics, make friends, get into a group or a faction, make again new friends, make enemys, make a RP story, troll people, get awesome, get sanctioned, whine on forums, have a laugh, organize a RP event, make a movie about your ship.
So much to do...
I've left this game dozen of times and came back dozen of times whitout even a thread.
But it's your decision, have fun.
Yeah its not like a MMO or singleplayer game, where you can "reach max level" and be done with the game. It's entirely different, you set your own goals and that's really what's so much fun about this game. You can make a closed economy character, hone your PVP skills in different ship classes, join a faction, build a faction etc. etc. The opportunities are almost endless, but you've got to make your own fun, as the game doesn't offer much in terms of "grinding to max level".

Roleplaying is a lot learning by doing. There are so many delicacyies you can learn over time only. An likewise you are developing and finding yourself just over time in Real Life your role play characters find themselfs just over time. The are developing, learning and becoming more experienced.
To set up a character with background and privide the right, intended ship is one thing. But this is not where the jurney ends. It is where it starts!

Thats the high RP way.

A good summary!
When I started here I had money making in mind to get the ships I wanted for RP fast.
But when it come clear, what ID and ship I would use for that purpose I joined the affiliated playerfaction.
The fever cought me after I went with them on my first role played convoy. I wanted to make the contact ingame first. But my application had not to wiat long then.

Of cause if roleplaying is not your way of playing, it is better you go somewhere else. No one here will blame you for this decision. And feel free to come back later on, if you wish to.

Thats a pritty nice idear I sort of thought of a few days ago.
However I won't do it for another ship I want to have to support my chosen faction which already accepted me and all.
But I have got some pure roleplay concepts and I think it's a rather good idear to be carried out for one of those!
I hope you agree with this much quoting from nearly everyone who posted before me. I wanted to add something particular to that statements without just repeating them with my own words. This way it is clear that you mentioned this and that before.
To the stars!
Pavel prompted:We are the money making company! And Hartmann added later while discussing that with me:The DHC way to solve problems? - Throw mony at it, until it diiieees!
