If anything, caps need higher max speeds than snubs. Once a cap is in cd range of anything, it's trapped already.

It's really fun to gank capital ships with snubs. And I enjoy flying capital ships and being ganked by snubs (as long as it's an amount I can enjoy fighting against, not 8 bombers like what CGS does).

But nobody enjoys being a fighter and ganked by capital ships.

I do, since you can always run from them.

Then why is it necessary to nerf caps further?

I don't even see how that can happen Shy The last time a capital ship even tried I thrusted all the way from West Point to Manhattan, taking barely any damage

Never said that it's "necessary" at all. Was just an idea.

Anyways, so far the majority approves of the HF speed enhancement. Maybe it's realistic to have it some day.

Only a BDM player would say this, seriously.

On the note of the actual thread, nuke HFs all together, they serve no purpose.

Which is why you shouldn't make fighters slow and capitals fast.

But giving HF's a cruise speed of 375 would be good. Wouldn't actually fix the problem, but a penny of help without any hurt is better than nothing.

Lol. One BDM| snub has more faction activity than the entire [HF] combined.

Anyways, even if caps did have higher cruise speeds, snubs would still always be able to escape any encounter with a cap. Of course, I'm fine with speeds being as they are, but since the thread is determined to nerf cap speeds and buff snub speeds, I'm just giving an alternative perspective. Besides, it makes no sense for fighters to have more powerful engines than caps - if current balance will be disrupted, it might as well be in favor of making more sense than less.
