The moderator ranks had become slightly non-existant since we adminified a good number of them, and a few more have stepped out of the ranks. To rectify this situation, we've asked a number of members to take on the job. Over the past day or so some names have started to turn orange. The full list for the new Moderator team looks a bit like this:

Aerelm
Champ
Jansen
Lex
Markus_Janus
Narcotic
SummerMcLovin
Xelon

We interviewed quite a few people for the job, and to those who aren't on that list but spoke with us, we do still want to thank you for the time you spent letting us pick your brains. Even though you may not be wearing an orange nametag, your ideas and solutions were still taken into account, and some of them were even affected already. Your interest in keeping these forums and this community running smoothly helps no matter what.

Anyway, we welcome you and hope that being a moderator is everything you dreamed it would be, for better or worse. Now be a good lot and put on a fresh pot of coffee for us, will you?

Usually you'll have one out of these that will actually do a proper job and the rest will be ghosts. Considering how active Summer is, I suspect he'll be the guy.

But why the admins modded some inactive people is a mystery.
