All I've seen was an episod where US Marines enters the city and declares matter-of-factly yeah, well Iran launched nukes at us, north korea made em, but dun worry we blew the two places into dust haha
And I thought "American propaganda? -_-"

i am not sure what that means.

If showing how a nuclear war would affect a group of very average, very confused, very terrified human beings is "American propaganda", then maybe we've turned a corner.

Of course, the hawks will just say it's those faggot commie liberals in Hollywood trying to undermine our "National Will".

I watched four old episodes two nights ago. The character development was engrossing. it was "real". As in any traumatic situation, the truth about the various folk of Jericho was revealed. The "nobodys" who stood up and performed unexpected heroic acts... the politicos who cared only about their dogma and agendas.

I will be watching tonight. By showing that war is blasphemy, there may be hope that we will see the truth, and go to war no more.

Two observations:

1) Opening segment reveals the number of American cities destroyed in the first attack as... 23!

Bloody Hollywood writers aren't commie liberals.. they're closet Illuminati and Scientologists!

2) As regards the comments about American media propaganda, the plot now seems to imply a sort of "reverse" propaganda; which has become quite popular in scripts of late. While the attacks on American cities were blamed on Iran and North Korea, it seems that domestic terrorists were the actual perpetrators.

No doubt we will find the minions of Law, Order, and the Hodge Way behind this subterfuge.

Was Kubrick in on the plot, all those years ago? "How I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb" indeed.

In my never-ending attempts to see the forest through the trees, I noticed that nukes were the theme of the season tv last year.

In no particular order, I noticed that nukes were the central theme in
"24"
"Heroes"
(& of course...) "Jericho"

So, is it Coincidence...or conditioning?

(hint: there is no such thing as 'coincidence'):P

So far as I can tell, the season we're in now seems to reek w/ the theme of 'domestic terrorisim'

Again, w/ "Heroes" & "Jericho"...& also w/ "The 4400" (but, that's been the 4400 theme since season 2)

Anyway, my guess for next seasons' themes is somewhere between 'National Soverignty' & 'restricted travel'

All that being said...I really dug the new Jericho episode tonight:cool:

I enjoyed this, It just finnished Airing here in BC and I want to watch some of the Episode's from season one now. Too abd thsoe Links don;t work, cause Its Regional Only.

I will watch this for a few mroe episodes to see if I can really get into it.

I'm bumping this because the 1st of the final 2 episodes begins in about 15 minutes (at least for me...10:00EST, 9:00CST)

Anyway, even though the 2nd season is short, I think it's BY FAR better than the first.

If you can view it, & are prone to want to watch it, then go dock somewhere & see what happens next:cool:

Just because the fan base forced the network to un-cancel it because of the 'nuts campaign' that doesn't mean that they won't use low ratings as an excuse to axe the show again just so they can add another low-cost garbage reality show to replace it.

Like the show or not, it's a great example of how the suits can be forced to listen...albeit from under umpteen TONS of peanuts, pecans, cashews, ect.:cool:

(btw...within the show, even though they were not any part of the attack, it was mentioned that the Cheyanne portion of the fractured gov't did indeed blow Iran & N Korea off the map simply to satisfy the public's desire to beat up on someone, anyone, for revenge.)
