The recent thread about cars, made me remember a small dilemma I had.
Right now, we have two cars. One is a Nissan Xtrail and the other is my work car, a VW Passat. We are considering selling both and getting one car, which could be used for...stuff.
His suggestion was a Volvo CX70,
which I am okay with, but I have set my eyes on one specific car I like very much in terms of overall looks and components.
Audi A6 2.5 TDI.
It looks respectable enough, especially in full black.
Anyone have any experience with either of these?

Only if everyone else does it.
Also, I forgot to mention. The Volvo is around 5 000-7 000Eur
The Audo is something I am saving up for myself and the price tag on that one is somewhere between 2500 and 3000 euro.

Well, the volvo is gonna get bought anyway, but I wanted a car for more informal meetings. The audi has just enough class and it does have all the things I need and lacks all the things I do not need, like GPS, parking sensors and all that shizle.

If everyone would follow the logic then the whole planet would be dead by now xD
Back to the OP, personally, I would take the Volvo if I would plan to use it for going on long roads, lots of trips, holidays and those kind of stuff as it seems to have more space and seems to be more adequate.
However, if you plan to use your car for anything else than the things mentioned above, then I would go for the Audi.
Also, go for the prices. You mentioned the prices of both cars. From my opinion, that version of Audi is really good and there is few room for complaints and the price seems acceptable. At least way more acceptable than the Volvo's.
That being said, I think I will draw my line here and suggest that buying the Audi would be a better choice.

Also, the roads in Latvia are terhorrable.
How are the frames and suspention parts on those?
I remember the old Audis had steel frames, before they turned to aluminium, but yeah.
